I liked this great pillow in the hotel to have the best sleep.

Place D’Armes is an excellent hotel. The building is lovely and the staff is exceptional. I awoke after a long flight from overseas wanting a cup of decaf at 4 in the morning. The front desk brewed me a cup, found cream for me, and made sure I was comfortable. Always a delight here.

Property and rooms were beautiful. A few small things: while the bath was large and beautiful (and i did enjoy a soak), the jets did not wok. Neither did the rain shower. .

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and very happy with everything. The room location was a bit tricky due to the building setup but once you learn how to get to the room, everything is ok.

Fantastic service, and perfect location to walk around downtown and vieux Montreal.

Hotel is good, a bit noisy on the 2nd floor. My biggest problem was without informing, they charged $10.35 on my card on the file. When I called to check they said it's for an item on minibar, and will refund as I mentioned when I have not taken anything. But a charge without even informing felt a bit of sneaky, and unacceptable.

We loved our stay. The location was our favorite part.

Incredible historical gem in the heart of old Montreal. Beautifully upgraded with modern touches. The restaurants were delicious and the spa sublime.

Lovely hotel, mostly great service, updated and comfortable. It was recommended by a friend who stayed there last year, We were located in the old building and lighting in room was poor. One light above bed had no bulb, other 2 lighting fixtures needed brighter bulbs. When we called to the desk they made it sound like they never had that issue before. THey finally sent up a standing lamp. I dropped my earring and when I looked under bed to retrieve it -- it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months - dust and dirt!! Bathroom was spotless, updated, great shower. Valets and service at door superior. Other than one woman at desk who was nice but not very knowledgable, everyone else gave good customer service. Concierge was wonderful. Suggested a great rrestaurant, was enthusiastic, knowledgable about city, places, info. So warm and welcoming beyond expected service. Might stay there again, miight try someplace new. Overall, was happy with stay.

Great location near old port. First room was older and I requested a room change and was moved to a huge, amazing room in the 4th building that was really gorgeous--almost apartment-like. Also got a couple massages and enjoyed the hammam.

Great location. Nice staff. The hotel would need renovation though. Breakfast was mediocre.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located for walking to various restaurants and shops as well as a metro station.

The hotel staff were very friendly and polite. My room was much larger than expected and the property was well taken care of being clean. Definitely a hotel I would recommend! Our stay was very comfortable and staff were friendly. A couple of the outlets didnt work which was a bit annoying.

Very good location in Old Montreal. Rooms are spacious and clean. Only complaint was they didn’t replenish our shampoos and Kleenex after a clean.

The property is nice and rooms decent. Water pressure is pretty weak so be prepared. My friend's luggage was broken when placed into storage when we arrived, unfortunately she didn't notice until she pulled up the handle much later. Hamma at the Rainspa was a wonderful experience. Overall staff was very nice.

Great stay at Hotel Place d'Armes. We drove to Montreal, and easily found parking outside the hotel for check-in. Staff helped us with our bags and valet parking made dealing with our car super easy. Our room was spacious, clean, and had beautiful windows and exposed brick. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room service was available twice a day. We ate breakfast and dinner at their restaurant, Brasserie 701, which both were delicious. Hotel location was also very convenient to old Montreal and Rue Saint Laurent. We would stay here again.
