I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The biggest issue was that room service never answered the phone, no matter how many times we called. The air conditioner was unbelievably loud. The constant humming and vibration made it impossible to sleep. We had no choice but to turn it off every night just to get some rest. We even checked several other rooms, and the air conditioners were just as noisy, so it clearly wasn’t an isolated issue. During the quiet hours at night, the noise was unbearable. To make matters worse, we stayed during one of the hottest periods of the summer, so sleeping without air conditioning was extremely uncomfortable. Looking back, I truly regret not spending a little more to stay at a better hotel. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be our 10th wedding anniversary turned into a very disappointing experience because of this stay.

Not the best tv channels otherwise no complaints

I had a suite for three night. Lots of room. Clean. Made me feel like I could relax and do whatever I needed. The desk staff were very plesant and helpful. Actually, all the staff I interacted with were. I'll stay there again. And the location was convenient to eerywhere I needed to be.

VERY LOUD LOCATION. traffic noise kept us up til 2am. Also not very clean room - vacuuming was not done in kitchen. Glad we were only there one night

Our check in was horrible. We booked a suite as we were staying for 4 nights and when we got to the room after a long drive the room was dirty, had garbage on the floor, hair in the tub and the sink did not work. We did get a replacement suite. When we pulled out the sofa bed for our daughter that night it was full of chips and food. At that point we were too tired to get another suite so we got more sheets for her bed. The rest of the stay was uneventful. While I understand The Sandman is a value hotel it shouldn't be that unclean and it has nothing to with the renovations happening. The workers who were doing the renovations blocked off an accessible parking spot which we need for our daughter so that was very disappointing too as there were limited accessible spots. I was unable to book the suite type we wanted as an RSVP member, the RSVP website said they were unavailable. I had to book using a third party which indicated the suite was available. I had hoped to still get RSVP points for my 4 night stay but the front desk staff said I couldn't as I used a third party. WHAT is the point of having RSVP rewards when I cannot even book the room I want using RSVP but I can get the room via Expedia?? Then to not be able to get points, the RSVP program is literally pointless. Extremely disappointed in the Sandman Kelowna and the Sandman's membership RSVP program in general.

Hotel staff unaccomodating when hotel cancellation had to be cancelled due to emergency, even only after booking the room with a couple hours.

I was in Kelowna for a 4-day trip, and I never met such kind staff before. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and they were very kind to assist us with any issues or problems. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel and want to give a shoutout to all the staff!

Receptionist was very welcoming . House keeping was great !! Parking lot was full and we have to park on the adjacent property, however hotel staff guided us to park on the neighbouring property , which was helpful . Overall our experience was great .

Perfect location in Kelowna. Everything you need is right across the street. Not far from the Okanagan Lake. Staying in the tower with a balcony is the way to go.

Easy check in, nice staff, clean room, comfy beds and nice pool area but no towels after we requested some.

The condition of this Sandman hotel is not worth the $300+ a night stay. The room had Noisy AC, which blows directly into the head rest of the bed. The room we stayed had a balcony. The adjacent rooms, has direct full view of the balcony. I can literally watch them from their room's window. The indoor pool is within the building, the rising warm air from the pool heats up the entire interior of the building, making the interior hallway uncomfortable, warm and moist. The room itself is outdated. Bathroom has mold around the tub and shattered tiles. Toilet is so small, it is for kids! Paints on doors are chipped, carpet looks like they were from the 80s. Has the feel of the American motel 6 (with minor upgrades). The parking lot is a mess, seen a number of cars unable to navigate through the limited entrances and exits. Definitely not a return for us or recommending to anyone.

The property is very run down. Our room in the tower was very beat up. Walls had a lot of damage and paint was chipped. Base boards were damaged in the kitchen area. The deck was dirty and we were unable to use it due to the dirty chairs and deck. The parking was terrible. No spots if you come in the evening. There should be designated parking spots for hotel guests.

Room wasn’t very clean, kitchen tap was almost falling off and bathroom shower head barely worked.

My room was dirty, hair inside the bed, dirty light switches, finger prints on them, and door frames. Balcony dirty, not swept, napkins on the ground. Bathroom, dusty, bathtub dirty and dusty. House keeping is definitely an issue. I have no problem staying in an older hotel, but it needs to be clean. I typically stay at the Sandman Signature…Kelowna didn’t have that one so I thought I’d try the regular Sandman. Huge huge difference in cleanliness and the up keep of the property in general. Even the both elevators were gross and dirty. Staff and managers clearly don’t care. I will never stay at this location again. 1st time ever I was so happy my trip ended. Waste of a $1000 for 3 nights. I could have stayed home in Vancouver. Btw, this was the 2nd room I was assigned. 1st one had a major wet dog pet smell. That’s why I believe it the house keeping cleanliness that lacks. They all need to be retrained…
