I had a very pleasant stay at Bedford Hotel. The location is excellent—it's within walking distance of the British Museum, Oxford Street, bus stops, and Underground stations, making it very easy to explore London. There are also many supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants nearby.
I stayed in a single room, which was comfortable and well suited for one person. The reception staff were always friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay.
The breakfast was good, with a nice selection of food to start the day.
Overall, I would recommend Bedford Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel in a convenient central London location.

가격에 비해 방과 욕실이 너무 작았어요
특히 욕실은 성인 어른이 욕조에 앉아서 반신욕이나 사우나를 할 수 없고 간신히 샤워만 할 수 있었습니다
욕조가 없었으면 조금 공간이 생겨서 좀 더 편하게 샤워를 할 수 있을 거 같네요

일단 샤워타월에 머리카락이 있었고
룸슬리퍼는 물론 바디로션도 없으며 전반적으로 환기가 잘안되어 끕끕한 느낌이 있습니다.
나도 모르게 베드버그가 있는 지 확인하게 되는 룸컨이었습니다.
심지어 세면대 물도 졸졸졸 나와서 4성이라는 게 믿을 수 없었음.
조식은 무난했지만 런던 물가 감안해도 가격값 못하는 호텔

The Bedford is a clean, serviceable hotel in a good location for exploring London. The surrounding areas are safe. Great pubs just across the food and many good restaurants close by. Make sure you get a room on the "garden side" as the main road on the other side of the building is busy and noisy. Like anywhere in the UK in a hot summer, the buildings will get unbearably hot for anyone who is used to Air Conditioning, so if that's you, find somewhere else to stay. The hotel did provide fans, but they really don't help.

The room was very small, and the bigger problem is that it gets extremely hot during the day. There's no air conditioning, and the windows only open partway, so there's no way to cool the room down or get proper airflow. I didn't sleep well the whole stay.
Housekeeping was also a letdown — the towels had stains on them and hair, so I ended up drying myself with napkins. That's not something you expect at any price point.
On the positive side, the front desk staff were genuinely helpful and friendly every time I dealt with them. The location is pleasant too, though be aware there's no underground station nearby, so factor in extra walking or taxi costs.
If you're visiting outside the summer months and don't mind a compact room, it might work. In the heat, I'd look elsewhere.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The location was very convenient and safe. Close to the hop on/off bus, tube station, and walking distance to Covent Garden/Theatres. Bed was comfy and my single room cozy with everything I needed for a nice stay. I thought the breakfast offerings were very good and loved the garden in the back to enjoy my coffee. The lobby is very welcoming and a nice place to sit and socialize. Will definitely stay here again when in London.

Nice hotel, great location and helpful staff. However, at over $500 per night, our room was almost uninhabitable during the heat wave with no air conditioning. Having said that, we realize that there is a difference between North American and European standards, so just be aware at booking.

We stayed during the heat wave and were on the 3rd floor with garden view. There was a small fan in the room but there is no air con and you could feel the heat increase as you got up the stairs to the 3rd floor. The shower over the bath was not user friendly, the shower hose was attached to the wall so made it difficult to move the head to make washing hair easier. The water also ran off the rim of the bath straight onto the floor which was only a small space so got clean clothes wet. The shower curtain was useless. The hair dryer supplied wasn't very good for long/thick hair so would bring your own.
The food at breakfast time was good, plenty of choices and the food was well cooked and kept warm. The staff we spoke to were all friendly and welcoming and they phoned for a taxi for us when we enquired about where was the best place to go to get a taxi from. The hotels in a good location with a variety of shops near by with restaurants and fast food chains. Would consider staying again if needed but would be put of a summer months stay due to lack of air flow and air con.
