Good breakfast, plenty of parking space

We arrived in time for early entry on day 1 but still had to queue so had to queue to get through security etc. A handful of rides were open but they did include croc drop and mandrill so we quickly did those and then waitied for Dragons Fury which opened on time. Lunch at the BBQ restaurant was expensive for what it was but this is common at most parks. Our room was ready by 2.30pm so we went abd checked in a bit early. The room was ok. Good voews of the animals who seemed to be out 24/7. We saw them before it got dark and again at 5.30am. Not much in the eay of entertainment at the hotel. The publicised meet and greets and ganes etc were cancelled and there was a sort of treasure hunt instead shich was ok. Dinner, sadly, was awful in the Temple Buffet - barely warm food (despite being early in the dinner service at 5.30pm), lacking in taste but the kids were ok with their sausages, chips and beans and puddings. No fruit was avaialble on the buffet at dinner and very little that's healthy. For £100 for a family of 4 it was very expensive for what was on offer. In the room the bathroom had shampoo and shower gel but quite high up so no good for use whilst in the bath. Breakfast buffet was ok - finally some fruit! The small plates reduce what you take but also make it hard for kids to cut their food easily. At least it was hot this time though! Day 2 we checked out easily and queued again for early entry. Not many rides ready. Overall an ok stay

Stopped here from Heathrow before traveling on to more family, we stayed 2 nights and meet family and friends. Food and service were good, the animals was a bonus, the sensory area with the TV was our hang out with the kids.

Always a good stay in this hotel, friendly staff, food is good in restaurant l, parking is free, only negative for me was the steem room and hot tub were both closed.

Room was good, plenty of space with separate kids sleeping area. Mattress made noises everytime I turned over, and not comfortable. By Booking through a third party, it was impossible to get a session in the pool. Kids were disapointed.

The room was clean but very hot, couldn’t turn heating down. Swimming needs to be booked in advance but you can’t do that unless you book the hotel stay directly with chessington - therefore we couldn’t do the swimming as it was fully booked. I called them multiple times before the stay to ask to book but was told it can only be done on arrival for Expedia guests. Disappointed overall but it was better than a premier inn

Everything was perfect, room spotless, staff were super friendly, couldn’t do enough. My two children loved their stay and can’t wait to go back.

Beds are extremely hard. We couldn’t use the slash pad which was one of the biggest reasons for booking that hotel. Sadly we won’t be going back.

The splash pool was not in use and there was no indication as to why. Indoor pool was still quite cool. Room was nice - the treasure hunt for the kids was a lot of fun with gifts. It was also disappointing that only one restaurant was open and staff especially at reception/concierge had not informed us.

The first issue arose when I received an email from Hotels.com with links to pre reserve breakfast and our time slots for the swimming pool. The link for the pool did not work and so my partner called the hotel to ask if they could book a slot at the pool for us. We were told that as we had booked via Hotels.com the links would not work and the staff at the hotel could not pre reserve the Pool slots. We would have to do it when we arrived. When we checked into the hotel and went to the pool the staff told us we could not reserve slots as the system was down and we had to just come back and hope there was space when we did otherwise would have to wait. We came back about half an hour later and none of the staff mentioned anything about the pool. It was not until we got pool side that we saw the splash pool was closed, as was the jacuzzi, the sauna and the steam room. When I asked the young lad at poolside he told me it should be open by the end of the week. No use to us as we're were only there two nights.... In addition when we got out the pool and went for a shower, they were freezing cold! When we checked out last year the staff told us we could still use the facilities and so we went swimming again after checking out. So, this year we planned to do the same as that day was my son's birthday and he was looking forward to going to the pool. When I checked out the girl on reception never asked how our stay was and told us the pool was closed for the day. Sums up our stay...

Room was fine. Having stayed previously I noticed other problems. Dirty open public spaces, ie rubbish left about, noticed most in restaurant and swimming changing area. My partner cut his thumb while in the pool and the staff had difficulty finding a first aid kit with a plaster!! Unsure of procedures on reporting an injury, should it be logged or not bother!! They didn’t bother in the end!! Found drinks bought in the bar terrifically expensive almost daylight robbery!! Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again just small things put a damper on it
