I requested not the basement room but I had to stay 1st night at the basement and the rooms was dirty. I took a tap water but the taste was funny. A day after, (what a coincidence!) I got food poisoning.. On that day I drank only water because I arrived late at night.. Definitely not recommended.

Services from hotel was very good. But the cleariness of the room was the worst in my life. I would not stay again, or recommend anybody.

Siamo stati molto bene in questo hotel, personale cortese e collocazione molto comoda, a pochi minuti dalla stazione metro di paddington. Abbiamo trovato all’arrivo in camera acqua, frutta, dei biscotti. La stanza è stata adeguata alle nostre esigenze. Colazione buona e varia. La camera è stata sempre riassettata tutti i giorni. Per migliorare ulteriormente, suggerirei la sostituzione degli infissi delle finestre e la moquette, in quanto sembravano un po’ datati. Come ulteriore suggerimento illuminerei i 3 gradini che erano presenti nella stanza in quanto di notte non risultano facilmente visibili. In ogni caso, ci siamo trovati molto bene e non abbiamo avuto nessun problema. Se torneremo a Londra rivaluteremo sicuramente un ritorno in questo Hotel ! Grazie per l’ospitalità!

Room Windows were open unable to close after a struggle and help from receptionist and maintenance guy it was eventually closed , heating system wasn’t working despite of help the receptionist promised will get it fixed we can go for dinner when arrived at 1030 PM there were 2 guys no clue asking me did you check the room if heating not working he can provide a portable heater eventually Mr Receptionist came with me and with some effort manage to turn on heating in toilet and room but there was no appologies or understanding of the problem there view was windows closed and heating now working after multiple attempts and promises and request at 2230 when asked can I speak with manager he said she is not a available can write an e mail what a quality of room and service and so called 4 star where freezing weather windows can’t be closed and no heating for bathroom and room Even we asked to contact manager on Monday she was not Available Ask to call her they don’t have her phone Left a message to call back she didn’t bother

War sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel nur könnte es mehr Auswahl geben beim Frühstücksbuffet war sehr überschaubar mit einer Sorte Käse und zwei Scheiben Wurst.

Room was tiny and tired-looking. Mechanical unit (heat?) was grinding and whistling on-and-off all night. Mattress was too soft but pillow was perfect. Also on the plus side, the room was very clean and the location only a short walk from Paddlington station.

We were given the wrong room, there was a chemical smell

Room smelt of stale smoke, bedding did not fit the bed properly and the bathroom not very clean.

The good: the staff were incredible. Antonio at the front desk especially was wonderful and tried to be as helpful as possible. The bad: a rat appeared in my room from somewhere near the window and radiator so there must have been a hole. When I came running out they told me “it’s gone now so you’re fine”. Not sure how that’s a solution. I asked to be moved to another room or one of their sister hotels, unfortunately no space. But considering I booked this through Expedia, they should have helped me. They were rude, demeaning and very difficult to get support from. Although in the end I did get support, I’ll say Expedia was less than ideal about this situation. The hotel staff, again, were great. Except for one grumpy night shift guy who claimed I was making it up for a room upgrade. But I had just received an upgrade because my first room had flies coming into it from the sink. So why would I “allege” there was a rat in my nice upgraded room? Makes no sense.

Reception staff very helpful and polite on arrival. Checked in without issue. Room has seen better days, curtains are torn, windows draught, and a dressing table but no chair to sit at it. No fridge in room and tea/coffee just enough for one night needed to ask for more. Noisy people staying in next room so not a good sleep. Good location but overall I expected better

Excellent location. Nice breakfast.

Disappointed with my stay here. Here to work for a few days. Stayed in a single room that was tiny in the basement with no natural light. Tv and phone didn’t work initially. Phone got fixed. Maintenance couldn’t fix tv. Elevator very slow and room was not ready at check in time until an hour later. Would definitely NOT stay here again on my next trip to London.

Room was exactly what I needed for one night on a business stay. It was clean, plenty of supplies with tea, coffee and mineral water too. Check in and out process was fine and was only a few minutes walk to Paddington station.
