The room was immaculately clean apart from a build up of mould on shower door. Views are unparalleled. The property is more faded glory than grand. 1980s high quality was evident but has not aged well. Overall property quality control definitely lacking. V dated decor and furniture that has seen far too many uses for its star rating. Peeling paint on railings, mismatched furniture with water rings, badly sized rug with curling edges, creating a trip hazard and dirty balcony windows are examples of deterioration that could have easy fixes. Guests with mobility issues would struggle. Bath tub ruled out use of the shower. Hand rails in short supply around the property. Fridge and tv did not work. The plug for the tv is a European plug, rather than a three pin British plug. The theme of dated decor extended to the breakfast room/ restaurant. Very 1980s. The breakfast had some problems. I arrived in the restaurant at 1015, having arrived at the hotel at 0400. A very showy look at the watch on the part of the person who seated me almost yielded disappointment as it was evident a “latecomer” was not welcome. I was not aware that there was a buffet as no one bothered to say something like “the buffet is in the next room” and sat for about 5 minutes before being told that I had to rush because the buffet was closing. The hot items were cold. The bacon was sitting on top of bread. As I am gluten free, a normally safe option for me was ruled out. The coffee was distinctly sub par.

I wouldn't recommend this place. It was genuinely filthy. I've never had to wear shoes in a hotel room but had to here. The shower curtain had mold, genuine black mold. The room hasn't been cleaned in years.

Accueil très chaleureux avec cocktail s'il vous plaît. Chambre certe un peu datée mais avec des équipements en parfait état. Manque peut-être plus de prises pour les nombreux appareils actuels. Restaurant du rez-de-chaussée excellent avec un service exceptionnellement efficace et courtois. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est hors norme. Du chaud en quantité, du froid, des viennoiseries variées et toujours cette même efficacité et gentillesse dans le service. Un très bon souvenir

Amazing hotel, I even extended my stay. The view is to die for, view of the infinity pool (colour of the Blue Lagoon lol), the port with boats coming and going, the sea and the cathedral. Very spacious room, we had one with balcony. Plenty to choose from at fantastic breakfast, all you can eat, it's E13.50 for guests, 18E for non guests. Parking for free at underground parking. To reach the ferries going to Malta main terminal, also boats to Blue Lagoon, it's literally 5 min walk. Suggestion to hotel, instead of the daily supply of bottled water, (so much plastic), maybe 1L glass caraffes with spring water available from dispensers on each floor.

Great check in. Staff very friendly. Breakfast a big variety in choices. Close to ferry stop, bus stop and restaurants. Great pool.

A kind of old

Bra frukost och fina rum. Utomhuspoolen är fin men kall i maj men då kan man bada inomhus. Inomhuspoolen är ok. Fantastisk utsikt mot hamnen och personalen var hjälpsamma och supertrevliga.

Air-conditioning did not work when I entered roomcalled front desk send in a technician who gave false reassurance that it will start cooling later I told him but he insisted, at night when it was hot and difficult to sleep they said they don't have technician and we have to suffer through, NOT AN APPROPRIATE STRATEGY AT ALL TO CAUSE GUEST COMFORT

Ich habe das Hotel mit Frühstück gebucht und vor Ort trotzdem keines erhalten. Das Hotelpersonal ist zwar nett aber geholfen hat mir mit dem Problem trotzdem niemand. Das Zimmer war auch nicht mit Blick aufs Meer. Und die Sauberkeit ist zwar gegeben aber generell ist das Hotel recht abgewohnt und alt. Aber vielleicht gibt es unterschiedliche Zimmerkategorien. Mir persönlich hat es nicht gefallen.

Th e location and view were fantastic. We did have an issue with the room air conditioning.

La chambre, bien que difficile à trouver car mal indiquée dans les méandres de la fusion de plusieurs bâtiments d'hôtel distinct, a une très belle vue sur le port. Elle est spacieuse et propre. Nous n'avons pas apprécié la lumière du couloir. restant allumée toute la nuit et passant par la porte ainsi que le clignotement intempestif de la télévision. Il est dommage que la barrière de la langue ait été présente à l'accueil et par l'ensemble des personnels. Le petit déjeuner est très correct. Malgré le charme désuet, l'hôtel est bien placé, le stationnement n'est pas un problème, et la proximité de tout est très appréciable. Espérons que les travaux en cours redonnent le cachet et l'accessibilité à ce très bel hôtel.

Great room with sea view, housekeeping staff efficient and friendly. Bar staff friendly. Great facilities in a fantastic location. We will go back.

L'emplacement est idéal ! Le personnel est très gentil. La literie excellente et la vue de la piscine est exceptionnelle !

Wonderfull location and scenic ocean views from the room.While the staff made our stay truly special, I found the half-board dinner a bit limiting, with only three options each night, and none really suited my taste. A buffet would have made the dining experience much more enjoyable.

Lovely view from our room/balcony across the harbour and although there was noise from the road and the harbour the room was well soundproofed. Check in wasn't so good. We arrived a little early and were told our room wasn't ready and that they'd let us know when it was. We waited till long after the check in time and eventually decided to look for the room ourselves as the desk was busy and nobody had come back to us. The room was ready but not easy finding it due to the layout of the hotel and we had to ask someone to know that there were different lifts. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely outdoor and indoor pool. Breakfast choices were ok but a bit limited and the breakfast room extremely busy and crowded. Only one coffee machine working so always a long queue for coffee. I'd recommend this hotel for it's location near the harbour and ferry terminals but you need to be aware it's a steep uphill climb along a busy road. Our room was in the newer part of the hotel and was in good condition. They seem to be doing a lot of work at the moment to expand the hotel but we weren't bothered by it.
