The hotel is quite large in size. Can be confusing trying to navigate your way around. The buildings are connected by long corridors. The lift floors in the different buildings don’t match up and access can be difficult with luggage The breakfast dinning room is quite small for the size of the hotel. The new guest rooms are spacious with large balconies.

First and foremost we didn't get a confirmation whether we would be having a cot in the room prior to arriving. then we parked at level -2 and it took us almost 30 minutes to find our way to the reception since the lift was opening on construction work. there weren't any easily read signs that informed us how to make our way to the reception. when we eventually tried the second lift, it was as if it was broken - rusty from the outside and barely working. We checked in and made our way to the room. the bathroom was full of mould - unfortunately I can't attach any photos but I will send them upon request. We left the hotel for dinner but no one informed us that there was going to be an event that might have an effect on the indoor hotel parking and we ended up parking 10minutes away which made checking out extremely difficult since we have a toddler. I had to wait for my husband to get the car rather than checking out peacefully. Also the kettle took ages to boil which made it almost unusable.

Room okay Your receptionist needs training

Excellent location, front sea view from the room to the sea and harbour. It has indoor and outdoor swimming pools which is amazing if you wish to enjoy time at the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.

Josef the manager was outstanding,upgraded us to a family room.Housekeeping provides enough amenities I booked for 3 and was assigned with a queen bed,no sofa bed.view of the outdoor infinity pool and harbor. Indoor swimming pool is warm with coed shower. The entrance to the pool not handicap accessible,however guests and staff assisted with the rollator. Had burrata & figs,pizza,fish soup @ Ferdies. Restaurant have diasable access in the alley of the hotel. The hotel is a stone’s throw away,uphill,the taxi not even 2 mins drive cost us €10.The driver was friendly and helpful that we hired him for 5 hr Gozo tour.

An otherwise pleasant stay was ruined by a distressing incident at the end. We had paid Expedia in full in advance, paid the local tax on arrival and not charged anything to the room. On check out the receptionist claimed that the Expedia room rate was too low and we had to pay more. We referred her to our Expedia receipt and both she & the Reservation Manager suddenly said it was fine. However, on the journey to the airport we received 2 phone calls from the hotel aggressively hassling us to pay the extra immediately by phone. Again we referred them to Expedia. This was at a vulnerable time when we were gathering our luggage to disembark the fast ferry. I managed to have a chat with a virtual agent on the Expedia App while on the airport bus and, while they couldn't resolve the issue during the chat, they were helpful and committed to emailing the hotel, resolving the issue and getting back to me. At the time of writing I have heard no more. It is worth adding that this was our 5th stay at the Grand so we had been happy to return. On this occasion the staff were polite & pleasant but did not seem to have a clue what they were doing and very few of the systems (technical or manual) seemed to work. The approach of the managers we encountered can only be described as inappropriate and not endearing to the customer. The handling of the issue above is typical of their attitude and lack of professionalism. I doubt we will be staying at the Grand a 6th time!

We had no problems at all...the indoor pool was superb..the sea view is magical... Looking forward for our next trip.

Nice and clean

Lovely friendly hotel. Bathroom was a little 'tired' but we had a private terrace, with our own sun loungers and the room was very big with a comfy king size bed. Hotel indoor pool was good, the outdoor infinity pool was impressive. Food was very good. Service was good too

Vladimir, the front desk attendant provided excellent customer service. He was very friendly and was able to answer all of our questions without hesitation. A very welcoming man to us strangers when we arrived. The room I stayed in was absolutely amazing; much more than expected. It was kept clean daily by the staff, it offered an amazing view of the ferry landing/harbor and everyday upon arriving back from my daily adventures it was very welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone who is planning on heading to Gozo.

Everything from the room to the meals to the staff

Indtjekningen var en katastrofe. Wifi var en katastrofe. Fitness på 4 kvm burde droppes helt. Men værelset var super lækkert, med en dejlig udsigt. Personalet er super rare, og meget serviceminded Buffeten er ren verdensklasse og kagerne gode. Beliggenhed er også god Kan anbefales

Lovely short break at the Grand. Elegant building with character. Check in quick and receptionist friendly, appreciated the fresh orange after the walk from the harbour. Booked superior seaview with balcony- stayed on the 8th floor, room very comfortable and nicely decorated, air conditioning efficient & room serviced daily with fresh water. Fridge in room small but handy for keeping drinks cool. Sunrise views of the harbour & pool area. Pool cold but refreshing ,stunning infinity view, plenty of sunbeds with towels provided at reception. Breakfast variety of options, cooked breakfast very nice. Lots of good restaurants/bars within 10 minute walk. Bus stop close by for trips in victoria or elsewhere on the island. Had a few nice walks along the coast from the harbour. Highly recommend for a short break, to be honest wish we'd been able to stay for longer.
