Mercure Perth

There are two parts to the hotel, one side is refurbished and are the pictures displayed on the website and the second part is the old hidden side and where most holiday visitors are placed. It’s where the bathroom has cracked tiles and paint peeling in the tub. The carpet is stained with red wine, hand prints on the walls and dust covering the light fixtures. It wasn’t a relaxing experience.

Grubby and dated, found someone else’s underwear in our room

Wifi never work properly when i pay for amendments i expect it or a return fund because ur providing advertising is false pluse it it time u up grade on tvs there priminitive had old features plus u should advertise size limmit on valay parking staff need to be more providing on facilities as well

A pleasant stay would book again.

The first room we were given had large wine stains in the carpet. Second room was ok. No smells and reasonably clean but really needs a renovation.

Airconditioning wasn't working in room, then moved to another room and still wasn't working. Not compensated in any way

Our only complaint is the quality of the bed, it did not provide a good sleep. Every time one person moved the whole bed shook, plus it felt smaller than a queen size bed and had some sort of plastic topping on the mattress which makes a terrible noise everytime you move.

Very outdated needs a revamp. We were upgraded to a superior room and the carpet was lifting and rolled in the centre of the room.

I liked the shared zone in particular and convenient distance to the places I needed to go

The room and general internals of the building are quite dated and the surrounding area of the motel were dirty and felt dangerous at night.

Hôtel qui demande un bon rafraîchissement surtout au building west. Beaucoup de bruit je préfère prévenir ! J’ai changé 4 fois de chambre entre une moquette endommagé, honteuse à proposer alors que j’ai payé un extra pour cette chambre. Seconde chambre un bruit de machine à ne pas en dormir, la troisième, la salle de bain n’a pas été bien nettoyée il y avait des cheveux sur le mur et pas de lampe auprès du lit donc très sombre. Rosa une manager m’a raccroché au nez et a été très froide car elle ne voulait pas faire son travail ! Même si elle s’est excusé après ça ne retire pas ma grande déception et que je suis une bonne cliente ! Seule récompense 2 cafés gratuits ! Une honte à mon avis ! Une mauvaise expérience humaine et un lieu qui ne donne pas l’envie de s’y sentir bien. Merci à Hailey qui a fait un meilleure job que son manager et qui a été adorable et très efficace.

Fair Condition

The Hotel was very handy for a walk to shopping and sightseeing. The room was good had all you would need. The swimming pool was a disappointment for us as when we went up to the top floor there was not enough chairs or loungers to sit on . So we never got to use it.

Bit old but good location

Overall great location for walking into the city. Kids loved the pool facilities. Rooms were a great size however the bathrooms could really do with an update/decent scrub. Walls were defiantly not soundproof as noted on the booking website with a loud TV next door on til late.

Check in was easy as was checking out but the whole place looks tired and needs some serious cleaning and refurbishment. The lift is really dirty as you walk into it the metal strips need really cleaning. The room We stayed in although was pretty clean the bathroom was functional but very outdated with some cracked tiles, the ceiling needed cleaning. We stopped on the 13th floor which was great for views and on the same floor as pool and gym. The pool at 1.6 m is not suitable for young children under 6 unless they are competent swimmers . There's hardly any sun loungers I think 9 in total a few chairs and a bench so problem when the pools busy no where to sit or lie to sunbathe. There was also a very rude man conducting his telephone business call who told my grandchildren off for playing at the end of the pool where he was talking business. Not the hotels fault but I didn't think a pool was for conducting business telephone calls. As for breakfast there's a good range of choice but some of the quality seemed in my opinion poor. There were also quite a few flies which put me of after they were landing on the exposed food. The cups for coffee several were dirty and although had gone through the dishwasher were still unclean. The coffee machine serves great coffee though. The hotel is fabulously placed for a short walk into the city. It's reasonably priced but is really for single people couples businessmen flight crew etc.

Like: Cleanliness, area around , easy public transport, excellent staff always very helpful. Dislike: Bath tub was a little high from the ground, no smart tv, need new curtains as it had some paint stuff on it, kids got their clothes covered in paint.
