The Executive Inn

The reception staff seemed slightly rude when I requested towels for the pool, which I was told should have already been in the room (they weren't). Slightly confused, I asked if I was expected to use the bath towels for the pool as there were no separate pool towels in the room. The staff member then went to retrieve 2 bath towels and after requesting 2 more (there were 4 of us) I thought I received a slightly petulant look.

Spacious room. Clean. Pool towels provided. Lot’s of activities around. What bothered me were the families with screaming kids, claiming their pool seats at 6:30 AM. Extremely pathetic of you are like that. Breakfast is way too expensive for what is offered.

All excellent. Except for the breakfast I think it is expensive but there is no many option around the hotel l so we have to choose this one.

Streamlined check in process, clean rooms

The room was spacious and mostly comfortable, the beds could do with a refresh as I found the mattress hard and lumpy. The location and access to the Wests club is great!

Friendly staff great pools and outdoor area.

The room was clean but the toilet had a bad smell of urine and one of the light bulbs didn't work. The staff members were nice and helpful. When we complained to reception, they made a note and had the light fixed immediately. They also gave us air freshener that we can spray the toilet. When the cleaner came the next day, the smell disappeared but it would occasionally come back during our 4-night stay and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from because we flushed the toilet every time.But otherwise, we like this hotel, liked that it was connected to the club so food was no problem and the pool area is beautiful. The breakfast buffet was also good and loved the view of the pool area from there. Will definitely consider staying here again.

The room space was small compared to last time we stayed. The walls are not very sound proof and every morning woken up from 6:30am with loud families. The staff are very nice and also the pool area for the kids

The room was disguisting. Marks on the wall and the ceilings the toilet door opened into the toilet. The windows were dirty and spiders in the room. We didnt have a lift near our room as it was broken and even though i mentioned to reception on arrival i have a sebaticious cyst in my knee and cant walk far they refused to reallocate my room. We had to walk about 300 metres to the other side of the resort to get to our room. The pool was nice. Spa too small for the amount of people that were there. Gym was unavailable also. Room service only at a certain time. Coffee and tea free in the room but if you wanted some or a brewed one from reception you had to pay for it. I wouldnt recommend staying there it looks pretty but 1 lift from reception is beyond me. The good part attached to the leagues club and a variety of food options which was great. The hotel needs work

The spa and pool were clean but the room for $400 per night was old and claustrophobic. Probably the worst room I have stayed in so we left early. I would not recommend

Staff was amazing and we enjoyed the spa and pools.

Rooms were clean but seemed a little out dated.

The room we selected ( many times) had a second tv in the room off the bedroom.It has been removed and that will mean we will select another motel for our future stays in Newcastle

Room didn't have enough towels for 3 people & hair in the shower. Apart from that excellent service.
