Obwohl ein Parkplatz ausgewiesen war konnte dieser nicht (oder nur sehr kompliziert wegen Baustellen) erreicht werden. Wenn wir das gewusst hätten, hätten wir ein anderes Hotel gebucht. Leider wurde man vom Hotel nicht darauf hingewiesen.

The hotel entrance and courtyard was beautiful., the lifts did not smell well, perhaps having a separate lift for dogs. Dogs were barking on 2nd floor!!

We made several complaints about our shower that was flooding the whole bathroom. Nobody fixed it during our 4 nights stay. We were not offered a new room or even a discount
The flooding was really bad. The water leaked to the carpet in the room every day, causing a disgusting smell
I talked to several people, from reception to housekeeping and maintenance and absolutely nothing was done
Furthermore, we were not advised that the street was blocked for maintenance. It was a bad surprise and if we knew it beforehand, we would have selected another hotel

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
The breakfast options were good with a nice selection of meats, bread, fruit, cheeses and more. They would offer some table service during breakfast which was a nice touch.
The rooms were very nice! Everything felt modern and well maintained. I would have liked a bit more water pressure in the shower, but the bathroom was really nice over all. The bedroom was really nice with a large comfortable bed. The air condition worked really well in the over 30 degrees Celsius weather.

Lovely historic property conveniently located for walking around the historical centre.
Friendly helpful staff. The rooms are all uniquely decorated. The first room we were shown was rather bland and awkwardly laid out. You had to sidestep around the end of the bed as a fireplace jutted into it and the mantle was shoulder level. We immediately requested a change as too awkward and were given a choice of 3 other rooms in the same category (deluxe double) and all were lovely with a nice spacious layout.
The buffet breakfast was very good and definitely one of the best we have had in our travels.
I would highly recommend this hotel!
