This was our second time at this Auberge. We loved our room and location. The building has the charm of the old city with modern amenities like AC, TV, and up to date bathroom. The staff is available but non-intrusive.
Quebec is a friendly place, and nearly all locals switch easily to English, if needed. This hotel can also speak Mandarin.
The stairs are steep as they are in many of these older buildings, so the upper floors are not for anyone who would be challenged climbing stairs.
We payed the hotel for a parking pass in a nearby underground garage. Twenty dollars Canadian per day. They have a few passes available for purchase.
There was no breakfast that I saw, though you could have a pot of coffee brewed in the office area. There was a small table for 3 or 4. There is a pastry and coffee shop just up the street.

Staff are friendly, room is a clean and location is superb, its very accessible. Free coffee and water is a bonus. Wifi can use a little boost but other than that, this hotel is amazing for its price. Highly reccomended.

The sofe was dirty, filled with crumbs of some sort. TV we couldn't get working. The lady made me feel like I've never had or seen a TV in my life.
Only good thing it was close to where we wanted to tour. For the amount we paid 179. Its not worth it.

If you want a bed to sleep in and then tour Quebec it'll do. If you are going as a couple, this place does not exude romance. It is functional. Birds were burrowing into a wall of the building I could see from my window. The front desk worker was very kind.

As advertised! Clean, zero frills, affordable. There is pay parking available directly across the street, with reduced fee pass from the front desk. Staff were friendly and helpful. Vending machine was a mystery. Great location for exploring the old city.
