The room was beautiful and clean. The staff, happy and friendly. If I had one complaint, our room was hot and we could not adjust the temp. To our delight we got a potable AC brought to the room. That fixed the issue and made us very happy.

Lovely hotel & staff. They were able to accommodate an early check-in on short notice which was very convenient. Great location for restaurants & shopping. Room was comfortable & very clean. The 2 dogs in the lobby were also too cute!

Lobby is nice. Rooms and hallways are very dated. Hotel is overdue for an update - especially the rooms. Beyond sleeping (if you can sleep thru the hum of the HVAC system) these aren’t rooms you want to spend time in. Also last few times I’ve stayed, there has been a long lineup to check in. Not ideal after a long flight - they should consider an updated self check-in process if this is a regular issue. Really don’t need to speak to someone to get a room key (other hotels have figured this out already) and letting guests avoid a delayed check in would be good hospitality.

Smaller room than expected, bathroom was size of a shoebox, for size of the hotel, was quite disappointed. Wished pool also contained hot tub, and awkward way of entering exiting pool…. Staff were extremely polite and friendly. Won’t return.

I was impressive with hotels receptionists both check in and out staffs were friendly and professional. Hotels facilities also good. The only issue is that a housekeep coughed and sneezed a lot(more than 10 times) outside at our door then knocked our door to ask sth, made me feel not uncomfortable although I’m not afraid of covid or flu, I don’t think it’s appropriate behaviour

The front desk gave my key to another person, and they came in my room in the middle of the night. I couldn’t get a hold of room service I waited on the phone for 44 mins. Then, the next day I ordered breakfast and it took 45 mins and I had to leave and couldn’t

The cleaning staff were amazing! Room was immaculate and items replenished daily. (Garbage/recycling removed, clean glasse, general tidy/turn down service) LOVED the house retrievers (Ella and Elly) at one reception area. Check in and check out was excellent and the room service was next level. Overall, we had a great trip to Vancouver and Fairmont was a big part of it.

Furniture in the room dated and some completely broken. No fridge in the room, need to call the front desk and rent one. Tv's very old and unable to watch any streaming services. Shower pressure is very minimal. The parking is a complete mess and no one knows how it works, not even the valet's. You cant buy 24 hours of parking the machine just jumps to random days and goes up to $300 on a whim. The hotels response was that "it is not our parking garage" however it is the one you offer so it IS your problem. Booked a King bed and I don't believe we got one. With everything being so dated and charging for every little thing combined with the parking I will stay elsewhere next time. They did provide a brownie for my wife's birthday but this may be the only plus.

I would give them 5, but the room temp are HOT and thermostat are crap! It was so hot and hard to sleep. We finally complained and got the maintenance guy to “try” to fix. Apparently, it’s the hotel central heating and they don’t work very well. He opened the window. It was the ONLY way to cool down the room. Crazy! Checking in was bad and long line. Not very coordinated or executions of check in. Staff on 9th floor was very good.
