We had a suite that was so spacious with a lovely balcony and well equipped kitchenette. The room was super clean the our bed was very comfortable.The breakfast was amazing and the breakfast room felt like a Victorian restaurant.

It was very pleasant, clean and good breakfast. There was a fire alarm on our first night that lasted over an hour and we didn’t get proper acknowledgment and apologies from the hotel, but that was fine. Overall, still very pleasant. Great location and nice vibe. Staff were friendly.

The room is quite old and noisy at night, with the sound of someone working upstairs. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, but the breakfast doesn’t quite match the description. Overall, the staff is pleasant and helpful.

The section of the hotel that we stayed in was tired. It was clean and bed was confortable but the room is in need of updating. Staff was courtious. Breakfast was excellent. We had the fire alarm go off at 11:45pm. Only one staff member was working. There was no organization, no muster station, and no information given to us. 80 ish people stayed out side in 3oCelcius and very windy weather. The fire deptment had difficulty finding where or how to disconnect the alarm. The staff member had no info for them. We were sent back to our room after 40 minutes but the alarm stayed on and off for another 30 minutes plus. The hotel needs to be trained in emergency preparedness.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is older of course but it is kept up very nicely. The free breakfast buffet is a great amenity. You can sit in a nice room overlooking the garden and harbour. I will say there is lots of construction outside right now but still beautiful.

Our room was in good condition a clean, but the walls are paper thin and we could hear people sneezing/coughing in their sleep and doors slamming all night. Then when the power went out at 5am it was a bit distressing because the fire alarm in our room started beeping because the batteries were low - and then it stopped - so we had no working fire alarm. My entire family was staying in the hotel in 3 rooms at the time - so it worried me for sure. The power didn’t come back on until later in the afternoon which was not great since we all had a wedding we were in and had to go get another hotel room to do our hair and makeup and steam our dresses. Not the fault of the hotel as a transformer blew we were told -but we didn’t have our continental breakfast either or showers or coffee in our room - nothing. Also our room didn’t get cleaned that day -but when we came back for our second night at least the power was on! And upon check out on the second day we asked if there was going to be any discount for the issues with the power and no breakfast- and we were told maybe - we did receive a discount on 2 of the 3 rooms for the first night. Also - th parking was bad - they only had a very small parking lot that we could get one parking spot for - and we booked 3 rooms - so the other 2 cars had to find street parking which was not convenient.

Also - th parking was bad - they only had a very small parking lot that we could get one parking spot for - and we booked 3 rooms - so the other 2 cars had to find street parking which was not convenient.
