Glenview ITC is absolutely perfectly placed and has incredible staff. There's two metro stations five minutes walk away, 20 metres west of the hotel, a lovely local street for fresh groceries, bakery, cafes and restaurants. Minquan Road, parallel to the hotel has a brilliant two floor supermarket next to the Lawson's entrance. It's an easy five minute walk to the pedestrian street and about fifteen minute stroll to Hongyadong. You can not beat it for accessibility. Shibati is also so close. It's clear the hotel is managed well as the staff are cheerful and so accommodating.Absolutely needed are special mention of two staff in particular. Concierge Faye walked me to a local seamstress for clothes repairs and accompanied me to the Chongqing Traditional Medicine Hospital for acupuncture. That time was a beautiful interaction between two people from quite different cultures but highlighting that we do have so much in common.That night, she left a gift and note in my room that I still have. Hostess Yuki Yang in The Team Room helped me choose two green teas and we spent time in a private booth on the 8th floor talking all things tea ceremony, farming and local life. Through a translation app I found another sweet moment between guest and staff that reflected other reviewers' same opinion. Top marks also to the doorman and a manager who called a lady to help me translate a Chinese brand of makeup from its English branding and even found the local store. Brilliant work guys.

The staff were incredibly kind and caring. Late at night, I suddenly started bleeding heavily and needed to go to the emergency room. As a foreigner, using the emergency and hospital system in China was honestly very difficult and overwhelming for me, but the staff did everything they could to help. I truly appreciate how they patiently assisted me and even accompanied me all the way to the hospital. I especially want to thank the young male staff member who stayed with me and helped me throughout the process. I’m also deeply grateful to the female manager who personally came up to my room afterward to check on me and make sure I was okay. Their kindness and care meant a lot to me, and I will always remember it. 工作人员真的特别热心、特别照顾人。那天深夜我突然大量流血，需要马上去急诊。作为外国人，在中国使用医院和急诊系统其实让我感到非常困难和不知所措，但工作人员一直非常耐心地帮助我。 他们不仅积极帮忙，还一路陪我去了医院，我真的非常感激。特别想感谢那位年轻的男工作人员，在整个过程中一直陪着我、帮助我。 我也非常感谢那位女经理，后来还特地来到我的房间关心我的情况，确认我有没有好一些。大家的善良和照顾真的让我非常感动，我会一直记得这份温暖。

Great hotel with an excellent location, with easy access to MRT Line 1 (较场口地铁) and Line 2 (临江门地铁). Everything was nearby and very convenient to access. The service staff — Lucy, David Lou, and 彭欢 — were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They went the extra mile to assist us by contacting the delivery rider when our parcel had not arrived, and also followed up with the limo driver when he had not reached the hotel to pick us up for the airport. They even arranged for the parcels to be delivered to our room before our arrival. Thank you so much for the excellent service throughout our stay. The housekeeping staff will also provide a laundry rack if you are doing your own laundry. The shower area and toilet are separated, making it convenient for two people to use them at the same time, while still maintaining privacy as the doors are covered with frosted film. One suggestion to the hotel would be to install hooks in the shower area so guests can hang their clothes, as well as provide a small shelf or space for personal toiletries. There is currently only a small tabletop for the hotel’s shampoo and shower gel, with limited space for guests’ personal items.

Fantastic Hotel with great big rooms and a great welcoming staff. The Hotel is in de middle of the CBD and really walkable to anything, not to Liziba metro.

Overall very very lovely place would 100% recommend for anyone only downside is the hard beds but I fear that is just a common occurrence in Asia as a whole. I have experienced this issue in Vietnam, South Korea and Japan as well. But the room was beautiful and the view was incredible. Very art deco styled.

We loved most of our stay at theGlenview ITC. It was well appointed and very well located in a very large and complicated city. We were so happy to be able to walk everywhere that we wanted to explore. Our room on thw 29th floor had a lot of space and a great view of the river. The only thing that was disappointing was that the swimming pool was being cleaned so we were not able to enjoy that ammenity.

A Decent 4* hotel, local to attractions. Communal areas of the hotel were stunning (lobby, elevator hall and sky bar), our room could be potentially leaning towards needing a re-furb in the near future, but was clean, luxurious, and had good views.

The botel is pretty big and historic feel. Service was excellent. However the room we had 1518 smelled of body odor it was so bad i couldnt sleep so i called front desk they came up within 3 mins ans gave me the room next door. I guess its just not my cup of tea i prefer more modern hotels. This hotel is old. I stayed in 4 hotels during my vacation, moxy which was awesome and cheaper, niccolo and parcvue in chengdu and all of those were amazing and smelled so good! We ate at the chinese restaurant on 8th floor it was good but pricey compared to other places. I also did the massage spa and its not worth it at all instead try golden impression so much cheaper much more service and they offer free buffet of actual good snacks food and cold n hot drinks. The hotel spa offered terrible tea and terrible gross snacks. Would not return. We also did room service the fruit and wonton soup was good. But the cart they used to roll in the food was disgusting it looked like it cane from a morgue it had thick dirt buildup i lost my appetite.

It's only 11th Nov, outside weather still around 20c, the hotel already stop operate the AIRCOND. Night mare, you can't have good sleep due to warm room, after complain to staff nothing they can do.

Glenview ITC is absolutely perfectly placed and has incredible staff. There's two metro stations five minutes walk away, 20 metres west of the hotel, a lovely local street for fresh groceries, bakery, cafes and restaurants. Minquan Road, parallel to the hotel has a brilliant two floor supermarket next to the Lawson's entrance. It's an easy five minute walk to the pedestrian street and about fifteen minute stroll to Hongyadong. You can not beat it for accessibility. Shibati is also so close. It's clear the hotel is managed well as the staff are cheerful and so accommodating.Absolutely needed are special mention of two staff in particular. Concierge Faye walked me to a local seamstress for clothes repairs and accompanied me to the Chongqing Traditional Medicine Hospital for acupuncture. That time was a beautiful interaction between two people from quite different cultures but highlighting that we do have so much in common.That night, she left a gift and note in my room that I still have. Hostess Yuki Yang in The Team Room helped me choose two green teas and we spent time in a private booth on the 8th floor talking all things tea ceremony, farming and local life. Through a translation app I found another sweet moment between guest and staff that reflected other reviewers' same opinion. Top marks also to the doorman and a manager who called a lady to help me translate a Chinese brand of makeup from its English branding and even found the local store. Brilliant work guys.

The staff were incredibly kind and caring. Late at night, I suddenly started bleeding heavily and needed to go to the emergency room. As a foreigner, using the emergency and hospital system in China was honestly very difficult and overwhelming for me, but the staff did everything they could to help. I truly appreciate how they patiently assisted me and even accompanied me all the way to the hospital. I especially want to thank the young male staff member who stayed with me and helped me throughout the process. I’m also deeply grateful to the female manager who personally came up to my room afterward to check on me and make sure I was okay. Their kindness and care meant a lot to me, and I will always remember it. 工作人员真的特别热心、特别照顾人。那天深夜我突然大量流血，需要马上去急诊。作为外国人，在中国使用医院和急诊系统其实让我感到非常困难和不知所措，但工作人员一直非常耐心地帮助我。 他们不仅积极帮忙，还一路陪我去了医院，我真的非常感激。特别想感谢那位年轻的男工作人员，在整个过程中一直陪着我、帮助我。 我也非常感谢那位女经理，后来还特地来到我的房间关心我的情况，确认我有没有好一些。大家的善良和照顾真的让我非常感动，我会一直记得这份温暖。
