Place is just lovely, with a beach right on the coast. Hotel was well maintained and staff were always very helpful. We had a breakfast buffet included with our room that was just excellent. The location is 15 to 30 minutes from oldtown, depending on traffic, by local bus. The bus service was great, getting us door to door from the hotel to old town and we didn't have to worry about renting a car and parking. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone visiting dubrovnik.

Incredible views from everywhere on the property. Breakfast was outstanding. The room was great. 20 to 30 minute ride to Old Town depending on the traffic. Our only complaint was no restaurant on site where you could get something quick and informal to eat.

I spent four nights at President Hotel Valamar Collection in Dubrovnik and overall it was an excellent experience that I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful city. The magnificent reception area impressed me. The lobby is a huge, elegant hall with breathtaking panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea. The reception is staffed with several service desks and the English-speaking team is always available, professional, friendly and eager to assist. Porters are also available to handle luggage and escort guests to their rooms. My room was spacious, comfortable and featured a large balcony overlooking the sea. Throughout the day, I enjoyed watching sailing boats, yachts and even large cruise ships passing by in the distance. The views are simply mesmerizing. The sunsets from this hotel are absolutely spectacular. Whether viewed from the room balcony or even better from the terrace of the Piano Bar on the sixth floor. I personally took dozens of photographs of the sunsets. Couple of islands face the hotel, creating a stunning backdrop as the sun disappears below the horizon. The buffet breakfast is extremely generous, Transportation is extremely convenient. The hotel has direct access to the beach. Some remarks: A very unpleasant food odor in the corridor leading from the elevators to La Mar Restaurant. Bottled water must be replenished daily to prepare tea and coffee. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing seaside stay in DBV.

We basically loved everything! The only thing we didn’t like were the hallways. Should replace the carpet and make them feel cleaner and fresh to match the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel. Beach, breakfast, staff, location and the local wines at the bars were exceptional! Bed was really comfortable and room was very clean and nice. Views were amazing. Hope to come back someday!

Veldig bra alt i alt. Kjøleskapet var veldig skittent når vi kom men de kom med engang å rengjorde det. Litt slitt noen plasser noe som gjorde at jeg syntes det var mer et 4 stjerners enn 5 stjerners. Beliggenheten var veldig fin. 10 min med uber til gamlebyen. Frokosten var nydelig.

Very disappointed with this hotel. The property is old, poorly maintained, and not clean. The room and common areas were dirty, which made my stay very uncomfortable. My reservation was for two nights, but because of the poor conditions, I decided to leave after the first night. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

our last visit was 10 years ago. In some areas Hotel is looking tired, carpets in corridors, wallpaper and paint in our room peeling. Still a fantastic place to visit and staff are first class but property could do with some love.

Staff was excellent at reception. They were very helpful. The buffet was very good for dinner as was the restaurant we ate lunch in. The staff that we encountered in the restaurants and everywhere else were very friendly and helpful. Service overall was excellent.

This hotel by far was best customer service and atmosphere!!! Dora at the front desk during check in was so kind to help us find my husband’s missing passport that fell out of his pocket in car transfer from airport. We were V level and the service at breakfast was impeccable!!! Everyone was so kind!! They knew it was our 25th anniversary and surprised us with heart petals and champagne!!! Bubbly hour was always so nice!! We really enjoyed lunch after the beach at restaurant and swimming in the Adriatic Sea was fantastic!!! The 6 bus is right outside of hotel to old town and was so convenient to go to the walls and dinner at night!! Perfect place to stay!! Thank you Valamar!! ❤️
