Booked a superior room and got room 54. Kept awake all night by the noise of the boiler as the room is located above the boiler room. We spoke to John on reception the following morning and was very apologetic and arranged an upgraded room (Master suite 2) The room was lovely with great views over the garden and a really nice bathroom…..unfortunately the bed let this down as it was so uncomfortable. The mattress needs replacing as it dips in the middle. The food was good (evening meal) but restaurant atmosphere felt like a care home.

The property was fine however room 54 is so noisy its like sleeping in a boiler plant room. Everything else was ok.

Everything was excellent!

Large free car park. We had a suite which was lovely. Maybe a biscuit with the tea/coffee provided would have been nice. The water wasn't very hot for a bath but I do often have water too hot! The evening meal and breakfast was very nice.

The beds was hard and the room was dated as was the building quiet place to stay

Lovely hotel, with friendly staff. The man on reception was very helpful and went out of his way to recommend local restaurants in Chester, he even gave me a map of Chester and pinpointed out the location of the different types of restaurants. Thank you.

We stayed to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. It was very clean, staff very friendly too. The spa is very relaxing with pool, jacuzzi, sream room and sauna.We didnt use the treatment side of it or the gym but definitely recommend. Rooms very spacious and beds are super comfy. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

Room large and airy, spa very welcome, breakfast ample if unexciting, staff helpful when asked. Restaurant menu limited, and ability to cope with more than 6 guests in a party poor. Ability to pay, poor; card machine in reception "unable to connect to host" for multiple cards (whereas bar one OK, meaning paying for meals a time consuming and tortuous process)

Lovely hotel. Receptionist was new to his role but was really helpful, welcoming and professional.

Beautiful hotel. We stayed in a Junior Suite and the room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable with a large bathroom and a separate seating and eating area. We had some nice food from Room Service and the service was excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The heating wasn't working in the bedroom. Electric heaters were already in the room so they knew about it. Not enough space for breakfast. Had a long wait even though we had booked a slot. They struggled to keep the breakfast topped up. Reception area isn't big enough for more than one receptionist so had a wait to be attended to. Not enough beds around the pool.

I stayed here a few nights ago, no issues at all, my room was clean and tidy, breakfast was great. Every interaction with staff members was pleasant. My only tiny issue is and it may be my fault just as much - but the signage to the property isn’t fantastic and even though I know the area very well with living there for 8 years and I missed the turn off in thick fog granted, but it can be misleading. Apart from that issue I cannot fault the place

Crabwall Manor looks stunning as you arrive. We visited during the Christmas period and it was decorated beautifully with lights and trees. Checkin was easy and staff helpful with ordering a tax so we could visit the Christmas market. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was really comfortable too. The blinds on the skylights were broken so, had to use a coat hanger to reach to close them. We also had a leak on the extractor fan in the bathroom. This was following a tremendous amount of rain. Reported to reception. Breakfast was really lovely. Great choice and even better quality. Dining area was decorated for Christmas. Nice environment to eat. The spa is betting ready for an overall. The changing rooms look tired with a few locker doors in desperate need of repair. The pool and pool area was clean with a small sauna and larger steam room. The steam room wasn’t working so, was simply a room unfortunately. There wasn’t any hot water for showers either due to a maintenance issue. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and the value for money was good. A little love and care in some areas and the hotel and spa will be even better!

The hotel looked really nice from the outside but was abit outdated inside. Was a great location for the price to get a uber into Chester for the Xmas markets. Was decorated for Xmas which we liked. Staff were not very friendly on check in , didn’t even tell us that there was a spa or gym to use or where to go for breakfast. Room was nice and clean , bed comfy. Would recommend for price and location and parking.

Excellent hotel wouldn't hesitate to return. Friendly staff,good food excellent service and a fantastic room great value.

We found the hotel comfortable and clean . Staff are friendly but needs some entertainment in the evening. There were no Magazines newspapers or games to play. No welcome package in room ie places to visit and hotel facilities.

Service was great and in beauitful area spa looks great definitely stay again

Nice place. Stayed in Very large suite. Great value for money. Lacking touches like tissues, no fridge, couldn’t stream from tv. Everything slightly tatty. Bed massive but quite hard and pillows like concrete. My nephew had soft pillows in his room so maybe I just lucked out. Paint splashes on dressing table and bedside tables that could have been cleaned off. Staff friendly. Helpful organising taxis but didn’t really provide any info on hotel when checking in eg WiFi code, restaurant and bar and heads up on pool availability for my young niece ( she couldn’t go swimming as it was adult time and we didn’t find out till we went along to the pool) No lift. Had to lug everything up 2 flights of stairs. No offer of help from reception. If I’d come with older relatives they would’ve struggled.
