From when we arrived to when we left, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. During our stay, there were half term activities for the kids and extra swimming times. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant one evening, but was disappointed the other restaurant was closed. High tea and breakfast in the orchid room was great. Our room was spacious and very comfortable! Will definitely be visiting again.

Another wonderful stay! Rooms and bathrooms are stunning and ultra clean. I received a complementary upgrade to a king room both times as part of being on platinum level of Expedia, gorgeous and spacious. Staff are warm and very attentive and spa is beautiful! Plenty of dining options too.

Kudos to great service from Mark at reception. Room was well appointed, nice bathroom and comfy bed/pillows. Nice grounds and free use of tennis/padel courts. Otherwise, noting this is a 5 star hotel undergoing lots of renovation and to be honest, everything just feels overpriced when you’re there… £42 for an average looking buffet breakfast and £6.50 for tea/coffee being possibly the lowlight.

While we did encounter a few minor issues with the service, I was impressed with how quickly and professionally they were resolved once mentioned – a sign of excellent customer care. One of the standout features of our stay was the spa. Without a doubt, it’s the best I’ve experienced – luxurious, well-equipped, and incredibly relaxing.
