We have just had a pleasant 2 night stay at Stubley Castle,room was just what we needed very clean with the necessary amenities to make our short stay comfortable,lovely bar area and the restaurant was very good,the breakfast was basically whatever you wanted,we had 2 evenings meals in the restaurant,first one was off the English menu and was ok possibly to much of what we had was done in a deep fat fryer,White Bait and Cod and Chips ,the staff are Indians and really nothing was to much trouble,on our second night we ate off the Indian food Menu and it was really excellent traditional Indian food obviously cooked by Indians people,all in all a pleasant short stay because we had business in the area,would we go back ,Definitely.

Easy to find and comfortable place to stay.
Check-in was efficient, and we planned to change before having dinner - but we ended up staying in the bar and eating there.
The meal was very good and the staff were very attentive and friendly.
Some of the same staff served breakfast the next day and it too was very good.
The place was obviously well liked by the locals as it was pretty full most of the time we were there.
(It turns out this is owned by the same people as The Falcon at Hatton so no surprise that the food was good)

Väldigt dåligt städat. Vi bodde där i 3 nätter. Samma hårstrå på badkarskanten varje dag.
Dammigt och spindelväv i badrummet och sovrum.
Nu var det extremhetta när vi var där och det var olidligt att sova trots att fönster var öppet
Frukosten var inte mycket varierat att välja på.
Som svensk hade jag önskat en liten lättare rätt att kunna välja på än Bacon, ägg, lax eller korv
Restaurangen var fint inredd men resten var inte mycket att hänga i granen tyvärr

Beautiful place, very clean and well maintained, bathroom a little dated but room was lovely! Had a curry for evening meal which was exceptionally good and very reasonable price wise.
Breakfast was also lovely. Would definitely go back.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfy eoom. Wverything you needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent. We had Salmon/scrambled egg and eggs benedict. Great for visiting Blenheim Palace (7 miles away)

Room wasnt the cleanest lots of stains and old sweets and food on the floor.checked in at 18.30 and was told the kitchen was closed so if you are planning to eat durring your stay you will have to drive to the next town

Room was comfortable. It had the amenities you would expect to find tea,coffee & toiletries. Only 1 pillow each, no others in the room. I did t ask for any others so unsure if they were available or not.
Room was outside, similar to motel setting in USA. As it was raining heavily the wooden stairs and platform was quite slippery( there were signs warning of this).
We arrived earlier than check in time so knew we would have to wait. Even at 3pm they had to ask the housekeepers if the room was ready and it wasn’t quite so had to wait additionally.There was a nice bar area and we had a very nice lunch. Quite an extensive menu and reasonably priced. It did get busy both at lunch and dinner. There is a separate restaurant area where the breakfast is served also.
Breakfast has to be pre ordered and you have to pick what you want at the time of ordering. I prefer to decide on the morning. I assume this is to cut down on waste?
The lady serving breakfast was not overly welcoming and everything seemed too much trouble, not just for us but for other guests too.
I have to say the younger staff serving in the bar/restaurant in the evening were very helpful and friendly.
