Great location, room had a lovely view and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nice comfortable bed, great breakfast. Maybe could do with a lick of paint but would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location! Walked with bags from the station, immediate access to great streets with shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants. Team courteous n helpful. Room & bathroom clean just not absolutely spotless. Was in room 5 and it was small with not much of a view but entirely comfortably for one person. Breakfast was hot and cook/server couldn’t have been kinder. And my bags were carried up and down which was really appreciated. Would stay again

Booked a room with a bath but didn’t get that I got a room with a small bathroom, the shower was tiny with mould in parts. The room was okay but very dated and needs a complete renovation as does the whole hotel. It was quite expensive and the reviews I had read were good so I was really disappointed.
We didn’t stay for breakfast as we just wanted to leave.

Upon checking in, the room registered 32c degrees on my phone with no air con or fan. Security wise, the bathroom window was held open by a chock of wood, ground floor.
Pretty unacceptable heat wise and security wise. I was not able to use the room and booked into another hotel nearby.
