The Nags Head

Comfy room, slightly noisy as it was Xmas parties. Great breakfasts, particularly the smoked haddock. Polite, friendly staff who kindly posted my accidentally left behind pyjamas home. They arrived here in Falmouth before I did! Thank you & Merry Christmas!

Checkin warm and welcoming. Room (Flittleworth twin) - warm, clean, fluffy towels, comfortable, carpet looked new. Needs coat hooks, extension lead on socket, poss some pix to break up the walls. Bathroom - looks newly tiled but sink cracked and taps need replacing. Hot tap on sink was not working properly and dangerously hot. Terrible dribbling shower. Hot water tank room (off bathroom) very noisy. Kitchen extractors outside window very noisy until after closing. Take ear plugs!!! Breakfast - lovely staff and food freshly cooked. Simple but nice selection of fruit, yogurt and cereals. Couldn’t hear the pub downstairs despite it being a Saturday night. Bonus! Overall - would stay again but not in that room.

Fab stay! Great location for Christmas shopping! Super friendly attentive staff and lovely room! Busy pub with restaurant,great vibes and a fantastic carvery. Breakfast which was included in the price,was delicious,with a choice of cereals,yogurt and fruit and also a variety of cooked dishes! Would definitely recommend a stay here and I hope to return again! Thank you!

The staff were very helpful and if I needed tea, coffee and biscuits replenished, it was done very quickly. The food was very good, especially the breakfasts. I had an issue with the TV though as I am only used to a basic one!!

Great pub in a very good location. Lovely friendly staff. We were greeted by Tom, who helped us with our luggage.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly fine and the bed was comfortable but the bathroom could have been cleaner (proper cleaning around the taps and the mould in the shower area). Allow a lot of time for breakfast - it took around half an hour for it to arrive after ordering.

We enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable, clean room and a good breakfast in the morning. What more do you need?

This is a nice inn with great atmosphere as an older building with a great pub.

Quite a basic room but spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Friendly and efficient staff. The breakfast was excellent, cooked to order and lovely and hot.

All of the staff were so helpful. They took the time to take us to our room. Even though they could just pointed us in the right direction. Evening meal must have been one of the best. I have visited many hotels. The staff here made us more than just welcomed. If I ever come this way again I will make a point of booking in here.

We had a lovely stay here. The rooms were comfortable, clean and surprisingly quiet. We were visiting a friend so it was the perfect location. We parked on someone’s drive with using just park( 7 mins walk away)as we knew the car parks were expensive. Pub was nice and the breakfast was great. Will be returning in the new year.

I was made to feel very welcome, my room had all I required and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The Nags Head is ideally placed to explore Chichester and the staff gave me plenty of useful advice about best value parking. Highly recommended

Really nice pub and great food. Centrally located. The room we had allocated seemed one of the smaller rooms available based on the photos and from seeing a friends room they had, which was a shame - Rooms where very clean and updated, bath and panels could do with replacing to match the rest of the bathroom suite. Our room had a double bed but one side was up against the wall and just a small bit of room on the other side making it not easy for accessibility. Breakfast was great and the service from the staff was outstanding. Would stay again but would hope for a larger room.
