Lovely restaurant, rooms ok comfortable bed, service a little slow at both dinner and breakfast

Wonderful place to stay. The room was clean, bright, & spacious. The bar was very cosy, & the food was really tasty. The staff were also very friendly & helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, food excellent, and staff very helpful. Would definitely return.

Paid extra for a superior suite which was right over the front door which wasn’t working properly so slammed every time someone went in or out and didn’t close properly at night so anyone had access to the hotel. There was a fight between drunken wedding guests outside our room at 1:30am no staff on duty at night so just had to put up with it. Fire alarm went off again no staff on duty called the emergency number which just went to voicemail which is really useful in an emergency guests didn’t have a clue what to do or where to go. Paid nearly £200 for my worst nights sleep ever and wouldn’t recommend

It's such a lovely spot and the room was spacious, super clean and with a view out to the lovely surrounding area. The bed was also very comfy and the pillow too, and this from someone who is princess and the pea with her pillows! I also got a really great rate for my one night stay.

Fantastic room with a Spa bath. Really good sized room with toileteries and refreshments in the fridge. The restaurant was lovely as well and well worth using. Would stay again.

Another restful stay at this lovely hotel. It’s always spotlessly clean and well maintained. The rooms are modern and well appointed. The bar /restaurant is excellent. We normally stay weekdays and it’s pretty quiet but it’s a near perfect wedding/party venue so I would imagine it’s pretty busy and maybe not so restful at the weekends. It’s situated near but not in the Peak District in lovely surroundings. Hopefully we’ll be back again sometime.

Lovely stay!

Lovely place very clean and comfortable rooms. Menus could do with being easier to read black writting on dark card made it difficult to see.

We liked the outlook from our rooms, found the pillows a bit hard but thats a personal preference. Meal was lovely in the evening and so was the breakfast. Bit dodgy driving down the country lanes to get to you but worth it once we got to you, will definitely stay again.

Our stay at the White Hart was for 2 days while we attended our granddaughter’s wedding. Our accommodation and service were first class and would certainly recommend the White Hart Hotel.

Room superb, staff very friendly and helpful

easy checkin, lovely room, immaculate All staff friendly and willing to make your stay as best it can be . We stayed on a Sunday evening, food service finished too early for us to take advantage and be aware bar closes early too. Breakfast was wonderful. Overall would recommend staying just check serving times for your stay.

Brilliant stay for my birthday at the white hart . Staff were polite and friendly the hotel was very clean and set in beautiful surrounding evening mean and breakfast was lovely ,loads to go and see in the surrounding area , highly recommended .

A well located hotel in quiet location. Ample car parking, some with electric car charging points. Easy to find reception entrance and greeted by a pleasant and efficient member of staff. Every where looked relatively new and clean accommodation was on the first floor accessed by stairs. Rooms were numbered clearly and the Smart key entrance was easy to use. Bedroom was well presented with a large comfy bed, 2 easy chairs and dressing table/desk, tea & coffee set on a tray. The only criticism was the light coloured carpet which had large boot print marks and other stains. The bathroom was pristine with a sparkling shower. The fork and furrow restaurant & bar had a relaxed easy going atmosphere offering a good selection of wines, beers and spirits and excellent food, all 7 of us had great food and excellent service from the 2 members of staff on duty. They made our evening most enjoyable. We will be returning as we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Spacious room, comfy bed, quiet area as in the middle of nowhere. We very much enjoyed breakfast, too. The not as good: -we couldn't get the jets on the bath to work -soap at the sink ran out after the first use, but there was plenty of one in the shower so we didn't bother asking for replacement -the TV has very long response time - you press the button on the remote and nothing happens for at least 15-20 seconds. Overall, very good value for money.
