A nice tiny hotel close enough to London and within easy walking distance of Farringdon station. There are a number of good restaurants close to the hotel and the area is safe and quiet. A great place to set up a London HQ! The rooms were on the small side but we knew that before we placed our booking. No complaints. Happy with Yotel!

Overall, my third stay at Yotel London City was fantastic. Pros include: close to Farringdon station (which is also handy to get to from LHR), if you like walking Oxford Street isn't too far, restaurants close by, small shops (Co-op, Tesco Express) are a few min away, rooms small but well- appointed; excellent heating/air-con; great shower pressure, housekeeping does an excellent job, and a really quiet hotel overall. No real cons, but be aware that the rooms are not very big. This time around I stayed in a premium plus room, and it was smaller than I anticipated. That being said, it was good enough for one person - especially when you're not spending a lot of time in your room! Note that If you are traveling with a partner or a friend, be aware the shower/toilet aren't in a completely separate room, but simply surrounded by frosted glass. Highly recommended - and will be definitely stay the next time I'm in London.

Hôtel super propre, quartier calme, personnel très serviable, la localisation de cet hôtel est parfaite. A 5 minutes du métro Farringdon, à distance de marche de pleins d’attractions. De bons restaurants aux alentours. Chambre petite avec fenêtres, mais c’est Londres! Le petit déjeuner est excellent et varié. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel!

Smallest of rooms. "you couldn't swing a cat!". The glass door to bathroom and shower wasnt an issue as i was solo, but if i wasnt it could be a bit awkward. Bar closes fairly early. Hardly a budget hotel, think I'd look for somewhere with a bit more space next time.

Clean room and okay for the short one night stay that we used it for. Rooms have an unusual modern set up. Nice bed with automatic reclining headrest, but unusual having the sink in the bedroom rather than the bathroom and a little limited for space (no chair or desk, or sofa). Good for short stays if you just want somewhere to get your head down for a night or two. We walked back from Savoy Theatre to the Hotel at night and then booked out before going to Columbia Road Flower Market on foot the following morning. There were some shops close to the Hotel including a Coop Metro, but we did not use them.

Yotel London City hotel is nicely located close to all central attractions. There are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby as well. Hotel’s idea is to have compact hotel rooms to not waste valuable real estate on anything that’s not essential. My room was too compact to my taste. The only window was in the bathroom but you could only see a windowless brick wall in less than a couple of meters distance from it, no sky, not much daylight either. Luckily the nice people of the hotel upgraded my room to a city view for a modest fee and my trip was saved. The breakfast was a positive surprise, good and plenty. I did not gave any cleaning of the room during my four days as there was ”a deal” to exchange the cleaning to a coupon for some treats in the hotel restaurant. It was a disappointment not to receive the coupon either.

Nice clean room. Attentive staff. Good location. The only thing letting our stay down was the breakfast. There was no sliced white bread for toast. The plates where cold so when you put food onto it they food became cold very quickly.

Decent hotel, convenient location The ‘skip cleaning for a five pound voucher’ system is needlessly complicated: you will only get it for two days but they won’t clean the room for the following days either unless you specifically ask !?!

Clean room and okay for the short one night stay that we used it for. Rooms have an unusual modern set up. Nice bed with automatic reclining headrest, but unusual having the sink in the bedroom rather than the bathroom and a little limited for space (no chair or desk, or sofa). Good for short stays if you just want somewhere to get your head down for a night or two. We walked back from Savoy Theatre to the Hotel at night and then booked out before going to Columbia Road Flower Market on foot the following morning. There were some shops close to the Hotel including a Coop Metro, but we did not use them.

Yotel London City hotel is nicely located close to all central attractions. There are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby as well. Hotel’s idea is to have compact hotel rooms to not waste valuable real estate on anything that’s not essential. My room was too compact to my taste. The only window was in the bathroom but you could only see a windowless brick wall in less than a couple of meters distance from it, no sky, not much daylight either. Luckily the nice people of the hotel upgraded my room to a city view for a modest fee and my trip was saved. The breakfast was a positive surprise, good and plenty. I did not gave any cleaning of the room during my four days as there was ”a deal” to exchange the cleaning to a coupon for some treats in the hotel restaurant. It was a disappointment not to receive the coupon either.

Nice clean room. Attentive staff. Good location. The only thing letting our stay down was the breakfast. There was no sliced white bread for toast. The plates where cold so when you put food onto it they food became cold very quickly.

Decent hotel, convenient location The ‘skip cleaning for a five pound voucher’ system is needlessly complicated: you will only get it for two days but they won’t clean the room for the following days either unless you specifically ask !?!
