Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort

Great

We spent a week at a dive resort with limited amenities about 30 minutes away prior to staying one night at Infinity Beach. We much prefer a less commercialized, crowded experience. Also, we would recommend going out in town for dining as what was available at the resort was overpriced and only decent, nothing spectacular.

Big room very clean and renovated. Territory is good with two big pools and restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. Very enjoyed staying here

As far as West Bay area is concerned, Infinity Bay is in an ideal location. Walking distance to an amazing sunset dinner on the western end of the island. Snorkeling right off the beach is amazing. More than anything, what made our trip special was the attitude of the staff. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful, went out of their way to make us feel like they cared. The upkeep on the rooms was a bit iffy. We were told not to trust the water but the refrigerators in both rooms we booked had filter status on red. So we boiled or bought all our water.

He amado este hotel y lo he visitado en muchas ocasiones, siempre fue uno de mis favoritos. Lamentablemente, desde el cambio de gerencia la experiencia ya no es la misma. Han despedido a muchos bartenders y meseros, y el servicio se ha visto seriamente afectado. En recepción, en especial, hay una chica con una actitud muy negativa y poco profesional, lo cual genera una mala primera impresión. Cuando uno va de vacaciones espera relajarse y disfrutar, no encontrarse con personal malhumorado o poco amable. Ojalá la nueva administración tome en cuenta estos puntos y trabaje en mejorar el trato al cliente, porque el hotel tiene mucho potencial y sería una pena que lo pierda.

3.5 Stars if that were an option. This was my 2nd stay at IB and I had a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit this time on the 4th floor (1508). Was pleasantly surprised it to be fitted with ocean and island paintings. Access to room available via elevator or stair. Unit also had light blocking curtains versus the vertical blinds common in many units which are not light blocking. This made sleeping so much better than my prior stay on the ground in another room (1502 I believe). The room’s kitchen was not well equipped with dishes and utensils for cooking. Ice trays in the freezer were a bit moldy, but I planned ahead and brought 4 new ones which I left behind for the next guest to use. Microwave would come on, but not heat anything. Great west bay location and with some fantastic snorkeling right off the beach. Included breakfast is really good. Housekeeping was heat. Getting a beach towel was not always easy due to attendant being away or unavailability of clean towels. Met expectations based on my prior stay, just not a 5 Star facility, but would certainly stay here again. Neighboring room had a water pale next door so that residents could dip feet into water to remove any sand clinging to get , which may be a great ideas to add outside all roos to help keel sand out of rooms. Improving the kitchen shortcomings would put this at 4 Stars. Used the on-site dive ship which is a solid resort operator. Dive times were limited to about 45 minutes on average.

Amazing place and amazing resort! We were there for 2 weeks and from checkin to checkout, everything was as expected! Breakfast was great and always had coffee in the room for the mornings! Snorkeling right on the beach and location is great! Would stay here again!
