We unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel, as our stay began with one of the most stressful and disappointing experiences we have ever had while traveling. We arrived in the evening, tired and with our young child, only to be denied access to our room. The reason: the staff insisted on charging an additional fee for an extra bed, even though our confirmed Expedia booking clearly stated that one child (6 years old) was included free of charge. Instead of a smooth check-in, we were forced into long and frustrating discussions with the staff, who repeatedly cited “policy” and demanded an ridiculous 900,000 IDR (~50€) per night (later “reduced” to 800,000 IDR). There was no flexibility, empathy, or basic hospitality. We were left waiting until almost 11pm, when Expedia finally intervened on our behalf and the bed was eventually prepared. This was a very poor start to what should have been a relaxing family holiday. The experience stood in stark contrast to the warm welcome and care the hotel claims in its own welcome letter. Sadly, our arrival felt the complete opposite: rigid, unhelpful, and inconsiderate. Also, walking in the neighborhood is not easy with kids as there are holes everywhere and traffic in Ubud is just awful.

Everyone here was so friendly and welcoming! They remembered me and visited with me and shared stories about families. I will miss everyone! The Duckie Colldas are the best, as is the Rose infused Gin. Every time my family comes back, we plan on staying here. Thank you for having us!

Wonderful stay. Great retreat from the busy streets. Shuttle service to near Monkey Forest or cheap taxi using Grab. Breakfast was good and the massage at the spa was one of the best we had with very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful villas, excellent service, authentic Bali vibe. Very peaceful and lovely food. Downside is that the property is a bit remote on the eastern side from central Ubud. There is a free shuttle available but only at certain hours, and the traffic is often difficult.

Pros: restaurant near by the Villa . Very quiet area. Beautiful landscape. Cons: breakfast is limited. There is no buffet option. We had the Villa for 4 people when booked but there is only one king bed, so we ended up pay extra more $ for two more beds which cost around $1000000 IDR per night. This place is a bit far from the attraction area such as clear cafe, chat time...... Etc. If you're preferred to be in the quiet area, then this is the place for you. The massage is expensive compared to other spa outside the hotel, however it was good

We loved our stay at Bebek Tepi Sawah. We live in Indonesia so visit Bali frequently, and this was by far one of the best places we've stayed in Ubud. The hotel is beautiful; lots of traditional Balinese features (statues, carvings, batik fabrics) throughout. Our room was well-maintained and clean. We especially liked the balcony and open-air shower. The staff were lovely and extremely attentive. We would definitely stay here again. We both agreed that this would also be a great place to come with a romantic partner.

We Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, everything was excellent. Resort so beautiful, and Great location away from busy parts in Ubud. Hotel provided free car shuttle service on demand so it was very easy to get about. Restaurant food was very good. Do try the Crispy duck !!

친절하고, 우붓 숲속에 있는 아늑한 숙소 느낌이라 너무 분위기가 좋았습니다. 조식도 괜찮은 편. 저녁 되기 전에 숙소 앞에 모기향&실내에 홈키퍼를 설치해 주시구요. 우붓 중심가 가는 셔틀이 있어서 편리했습니다. 자쿠지 딸린 빌라에 묵었는데 저녁에 덥지 않은 날씨라서 좋았어요. 수영장이 조금 작고 아주 깨끗하진 않아서 수영이 중요하신 분이면 비추.

The service is excellent and staff very friendly and always greeting with a smile. The food we ordered from the restaurant was also very tasty. The shuttle service provided to Ubud center and back is an excellent service and cuts your taxi costs, if you don’t drive a motor bike yourself. The room or the villa seemed to be quite old and could use some renovation (the empty room that maybe used to be a kitchen is a bit spooky with only its empty closets). Also the AC is old and very loud – even with earplugs getting sleep can be a bit difficult. Even though BTS is located by a busy road, you won’t hear the traffic in the property, so relaxing at pool area is guaranteed.

Pros: restaurant near by the Villa . Very quiet area. Beautiful landscape. Cons: breakfast is limited. There is no buffet option. We had the Villa for 4 people when booked but there is only one king bed, so we ended up pay extra more $ for two more beds which cost around $1000000 IDR per night. This place is a bit far from the attraction area such as clear cafe, chat time...... Etc. If you're preferred to be in the quiet area, then this is the place for you. We loved our stay at Bebek Tepi Sawah. We live in Indonesia so visit Bali frequently, and this was by far one of the best places we've stayed in Ubud. The hotel is beautiful; lots of traditional Balinese features (statues, carvings, batik fabrics) throughout. Our room was well-maintained and clean. We especially liked the balcony and open-air shower. The staff were lovely and extremely attentive. We would definitely stay here again. We both agreed that this would also be a great place to come with a romantic partner.

We Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, everything was excellent. Resort so beautiful, and Great location away from busy parts in Ubud. Hotel provided free car shuttle service on demand so it was very easy to get about. Restaurant food was very good. Do try the Crispy duck !!

친절하고, 우붓 숲속에 있는 아늑한 숙소 느낌이라 너무 분위기가 좋았습니다. 조식도 괜찮은 편. 저녁 되기 전에 숙소 앞에 모기향&실내에 홈키퍼를 설치해 주시구요. 우붓 중심가 가는 셔틀이 있어서 편리했습니다. 자쿠지 딸린 빌라에 묵었는데 저녁에 덥지 않은 날씨라서 좋았어요. 수영장이 조금 작고 아주 깨끗하진 않아서 수영이 중요하신 분이면 비추.

The service is excellent and staff very friendly and always greeting with a smile. The food we ordered from the restaurant was also very tasty. The shuttle service provided to Ubud center and back is an excellent service and cuts your taxi costs, if you don’t drive a motor bike yourself. The room or the villa seemed to be quite old and could use some renovation (the empty room that maybe used to be a kitchen is a bit spooky with only its empty closets). Also the AC is old and very loud – even with earplugs getting sleep can be a bit difficult. Even though BTS is located by a busy road, you won’t hear the traffic in the property, so relaxing at pool area is guaranteed.
