Chambre luxueuse, grande et bien décorée. Notre chambre était située coté cours donc très calme et vue sur le dôme. Petit déjeuner fourni et varié. Localisation parfaite pour faire du tourisme dans la vieille ville, à 5 minutes du dôme. Resto sympa à proximité. De l'aéroport, inutile de prendre un taxi ou le train. Le tram vous laisse à 5 minutes de l'hôtel.

Hotel California has a wonderful central location, and the staff there are so helpful and kind. It’s a little shabby but totally reliable. The rooms are clean and comfortable - I’d stay there again.

We changed rooms - first had broken lamp and a temporary plastic shower curtain. 2nd room was fine.

Convenient location. Staff were competent but lacked hospitality skills. Room was tired & had seen better days but was clean. Listing two bars was misleading. Can’t understand how this hotel is a 4 star.

Our room was right off the main lobby and it was extremely loud. Beds were not the comfiest. Breakfast very basic. Excellent area and amazing walking distance to everything. We loved the little cafes down the street for breakfast.

This hotel is within walking distance to all the turist attractions. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

I liked the room they gave me, it was clean and nice. The staff was always available and friendly. The hotel is well located. You reach everything quickly by feet, a carrefour express is in the same street and also the Tram station from/to the airport is close and just straight ahead with 5 minutes. Only thing which I did not like was the breakfast. Real cappuccino etc is a must in Italy. I recommend to close the window because people outside are noisy. But at all I was satisfied. Mille Grazie!

Found this hotel while panic searching a hotel in Florence. I saw they had a room available with a view of the duomo. They were right. I was lucky enough to stay in a newer area of the hotel with a renovated room. The room was clean, pretty, and the bathroom was gorgeous. Be prepared to hand your key in to the front desk every time you leave the hotel (we thought that was strange). You need that key to run the electricity in the room so if you’re traveling when it’s super hot, know that the AC won’t be running and cooling the room down while you’re out and about. There’s an elevated patio area outside with a small bar inside that stays open till about midnight. Great option if you’re back from a long day of walking and need a drink with a slight view. The room had a small fridge (can’t fit much but helps for a few small bottles), a kettle to warm water for tea or coffee, and one AC unit z
