Hotel Savoia & Jolanda, Venice, Italy – November 2024 3 nights stay.
This was my second stay at Hotel Savoia & Jolanda, and I returned with three family members who were visiting Venice for the first time. The hotel’s customer service is exceptional—the staff is attentive and eager to make your stay enjoyable.
While the hotel has a charming Venetian character, it could benefit from some renovations in certain areas. One issue we faced was the room temperature. Despite it being November, it was surprisingly warm, and the air conditioning wasn’t working. The hotel provided us with an electric fan, which helped a little, but it was still uncomfortable at night. Unfortunately, opening the windows for fresh air wasn’t an option due to mosquitos, which was disappointing.
That said, the bed was comfortable, and we stayed in a junior suite with a balcony overlooking the canal, which was a highlight. Waking up to the views of the water and the lively activity below was an incredible experience.
Overall, I would stay here again but would choose the winter months for a more comfortable room temperature. The location, service, and views make it a wonderful place to stay in Venice, but the heat in the fall can detract from the experience.

Wonderful hotel in a central location in Venice. The staff were amazing, we had a Junior Suite with a balcony that overlooked the lagoon and it was gorgeous. The room was large as was the bathroom and the balcony was an added bonus.
Well located with the water taxi and water bus stopping right out the front made it very easy to get to and from the airport and over to the other islands.
Also very walkable to all the attractions in Venice, we were very happy and would definitely stay here again.

This was my third time staying at hotel and i won't be returning. The breakfast buffet was one of my least favorite in touring Italy. The hotel turns air off so no air for 3 days. Rooms are nice but very noisy since we needed to open for lack of air. Gave porter $20 euros to bring our 3 bags to water taxi but he dissappeared when our water taxi arrived. The front desk noticed our frustration but offered no assistance or concern . We carried our own bags! On a high note we ate at one of best restaurants in Venice, Da Ivo!! Great food and Friendly Chef!

I can’t believe the property we arrived at is the same pictured everywhere online. The room that was given to us wasn’t pictured anywhere online. The hotel was dark and dingy. The hallways looked like a horror movie, pulled carpet, yellowed tiles on the ceiling… then we get to our room. Not just old… decrepit. I have no idea how this is considered a 4-star hotel. We didn’t get in until 11pm because of some transportation issues, but scoured the city for anywhere else to sleep- which we found- at 12:30am, and happily left. They didn’t refund us, which I guess could be expected. I was happy to lose $600 to not stay there.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They made excellent recommendations, assisted in water taxis, dining recommendations and shopping ideas. The hotel is right in front of the Ferry-easy to get to with luggage. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful with high ceilings and wood beams. The bed was very roomy.The hotel was walkable to most of the sights. The VIP package with Expedia provided breakfast daily and complimentary champagne. We could not have asked for anything better in Venice.

306호에 3박을 하였는데, 호텔을 청결하였으나 시설이 오래되어 불편한 점이 많았습니다. 306호는 304호와 방문 하나로 나뉘어진 방이었습니다. 그래서 304호에서 TV소리가 우리 방으로 그대로 전달이 되었습니다. 그래서 임시 방편으로 분리된 방문 아래 1~2cm의 틈에 수건으로 막아서 사용했습니다. 그래도 방음이 제대로 되지 않았습니다. 그리고 위 층과 옆 방에서 가구의 삐걱거리는 소리가 들리고, 위층에서 걸을 때마다 쿵쿵 거리는 소리가 들렸습니다. 유럽 여행 중에 이렇게 층간 소음이 있는 방은 처음이었습니다. 방을 바꿔달라고 요청해보았으나, 낮은 등급의 방 밖에 없어서 포기하였습니다. 다음 날 바꾸어 줄 수 있다고 하여, 다음날 낮에는 일정이 있어서 저녁에 갔더니, 모든 방이 가득 차서 바꿔줄 수 없다고 하였습니다. 그러면 낮에 일정을 포기하고 방을 바꿔야 했었던 것인지 의문입니다. 여행을 와서 낮시간은 대부분 일정 때문에 호텔에 들릴 수 없는데 말입니다. 아무튼 다른 분들은 숙박시 해당 내용을 고려하여 숙박할 필요가 있어보입니다. 욕조가 있어서 좋았던 부분은 있습니다.

ジュニアスイートルームに宿泊しました。バルコニーから見える、ベネチアの運河、サンタマリアデッレサルーテ教会、サンジョルジョマッジョーレ島。完璧な景色でした。滞在中、何度もバルコニーに出て、景色を楽しみました。飽きることがない景色です。
立地はサンマルコ広場にとても近く、スタッフはフレンドリーで、家のようにくつろげるホテルでした。
このホテルのおかげでベネチアを満喫することができました。とても最高です。

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They made excellent recommendations, assisted in water taxis, dining recommendations and shopping ideas. We were on our honeymoon and were greeted with a bottle of champagne and local cookies twice during our stay. We were treated like family. Grazie Mille.

The hotel is right in front of the Ferry-easy to get to with luggage. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful with high ceilings and wood beams. The bed was very roomy.The hotel was walkable to most of the sights. The VIP package with Expedia provided breakfast daily and complimentary champagne. We could not have asked for anything better in Venice.

306호에 3박을 하였는데, 호텔을 청결하였으나 시설이 오래되어 불편한 점이 많았습니다. 306호는 304호와 방문 하나로 나뉘어진 방이었습니다. 그래서 304호에서 TV소리가 우리 방으로 그대로 전달이 되었습니다. 그래서 임시 방편으로 분리된 방문 아래 1~2cm의 틈에 수건으로 막아서 사용했습니다. 그래도 방음이 제대로 되지 않았습니다. 그리고 위 층과 옆 방에서 가구의 삐걱거리는 소리가 들리고, 위층에서 걸을 때마다 쿵쿵 거리는 소리가 들렸습니다. 유럽 여행 중에 이렇게 층간 소음이 있는 방은 처음이었습니다. 방을 바꿔달라고 요청해보았으나, 낮은 등급의 방 밖에 없어서 포기하였습니다. 다음 날 바꾸어 줄 수 있다고 하여, 다음날 낮에는 일정이 있어서 저녁에 갔더니, 모든 방이 가득 차서 바꿔줄 수 없다고 하였습니다. 그러면 낮에 일정을 포기하고 방을 바꿔야 했었던 것인지 의문입니다. 여행을 와서 낮시간은 대부분 일정 때문에 호텔에 들릴 수 없는데 말입니다. 아무튼 다른 분들은 숙박시 해당 내용을 고려하여 숙박할 필요가 있어보입니다. 욕조가 있어서 좋았던 부분은 있습니다.

ジュニアスイートルームに宿泊しました。バルコニーから見える、ベネチアの運河、サンタマリアデッレサルーテ教会、サンジョルジョマッジョーレ島。完璧な景色でした。滞在中、何度もバルコニーに出て、景色を楽しみました。飽きることがない景色です。
立地はサンマルコ広場にとても近く、スタッフはフレンドリーで、家のようにくつろげるホテルでした。
このホテルのおかげでベネチアを満喫することができました。とても最高です。

Great location!! Hotel was dirty and the pillows were like rocks!! Our room was so tiny, it was ridiculous!! Maid lost the tv remote the first night, never to be found again😳
