K's House Fuji View - Hostel

Very impressed with the folks running the hostel.

The place was nice, quiet and clean. Staff were really nice and accommodating.

It was nice that we could see Fuji Mountain in our room and most of the staff were friendly, but a Japanese female staff with short hair was extremely rude to us. The kitchen is supposed to be open all day 24hours, but while we were cooking she rudely asked us “how much longer”, she made very loud noises as if she was upset with us, she sprayed cleaning solution on the counter and on our food, and she blocked the kitchen entrance. Also the walls between the rooms are very thin, you can hear everything very loud and clear. We had loud neighbors and it was hard to sleep many nights. The doors sound like they are being slammed every time they open and close.

Was a fairly clean, well kept hostel. Most of the staff were nice and accomodating. Located in a more local neighbourhood but has a 7-11 near by! Biggest issue: during the hours of 11am to 3pm, you can't shower at all and they didn't seem to want us to use the lounge area during those times either.

Excellent stay at K's house. 20 minute walk to the station and in a quiet area of town. Be sure to check out the herb garden nearby.

Super hostel mais les serviettes ne sont pas fournies et il y a pas mal de monde dans les chambres. Le petit rooftop avec la vue sur le Mont Fuji est vraiment top !

Really great stay here. Everything felt really safe, waking up in the morning and having coffee staring at mt fuji is an image ill never forget.

Well maintained and spacious hostel with a beautiful view of Mt Fuji! I had some trouble with the laundry machines in which the dryers weren't working but the staff had fixed the problem the next morning and allowed me to dry my things before checking out. The surrounding area is residential so no restaurants or shopping nearby other than the conbini; most of your shopping and dining is closer to the station. The hostel is a bit of a far walk from the station if you've got luggage but the hostel can arrange a taxi for you if you don't want to walk. If you do walk, just be aware that there are no sidewalks around the Kawaguchiko station and the residential area around the hostel

Charming place! We stayed at a few establishments in Japan and my son proclaimed that it's his favourite. The view of Mt Fuji from the roof top was amazing! My kids really enjoyed going up there. The room was clean and sleeping on the futons was a great experience. The bathrooms were also very clean considering that they were shared. The staff were very friendly and helpful; they recommended dining options and helped us to call a few car rental companies. There is a small seafood shop nearby where we bought fresh sashimi from and they also had oysters for a steal! Really regret not having more... on the whole, it was a wonderful experience. We plan on returning and staying longer the next time!

Excellent views of mt Fuji, when she shows herself. Great facilities in a convenient location.

We lived in private room (shared bathroom), the room was spacious and comfortable. Can see Mount Fuji from the room window. The shared bathroom/ shower was very clean. Kitchen was spacious and have all the cooking utensils you need. We drove and parked our car at this hostel, very convenient and easy parking. Lots of reataurants and a convenience store nearby within walking distance.

2일 숙박하였습니다. 공용시설(화장실, 샤워실, 주방, 라운지, 옥상 등)이 상당히 깨끗합니다. 종업원 분들도 상당히 친절하십니다. 옥상에서 후지산이 상당히 잘 보여요! 2일동안 저녁에는 옥상에만 올라 가 있었습니다.

値段もそこそこで、周辺にはコンビニ等もあるのでよかった

最強に綺麗。お布団フッカフカで深い眠りに即落ちです。スタッフの方々がとんでもなく親切。ハンモックや、秘密階段の先に秘密の富士山展望デッキがあって、冒険心をくすぐる家の構図に子供たちは大興奮でした。 トイレやシャワーは共同だけど、新しくて凄く清潔なので、全く問題なく心地よく滞在できました。お客が困っていたらスタッフの方々が、通常の業務の枠を超えて、一緒に寄り添って問題解決しようとしてくれたり、観光地の招待券もくれましたが、そこが凄くまた良かったです。 天気やサンライズ&サンセットの時間を毎日調べてくれて、黒板に出してくれてるのも客想いでありがたいと思います。 スリッパも新しくて清潔だった。 キッチン用具で、フライパンのテフロン加工がものすごく取れていたので、誰かがゴシゴシしたのだと思う。 スタッフの方々がここまで徹底的に、お客さんが気持ちよく過ごせるようにと館内を隅から隅まで綺麗にしてくれるのだから、今度は滞在者の方も、借りる道具を綺麗に大事に使ったら良いかと思う。
