Club Serena Resort

The property is located on the ocean but the beach isn’t very nice. The rooms are old and outdated. The road on the way to the resort is horrible. All in all it’s NOT worth the price. One positive note, the staff is friendly and helpful.

My main concern was the breakfast. They served beef mushroom and chicken wings, which honestly didn’t feel appropriate for a morning meal. It would have been better if they offered the usual breakfast choices like bacon and sausage. On top of that, we couldn’t relax while eating because the staff were talking loudly nearby, and we could clearly hear their conversations. It didn’t feel like a peaceful or pleasant start to the day. We also ordered food and requested for it to be delivered to our room the Governor’s Suite which isn’t even far from the restaurant. To our surprise, we were charged a ₱300 delivery fee, which made no sense considering the distance and the fact that we were already paying almost ₱11, 000 per night for the room.

At the end of a gravel path full of potholes, this remote little resort can be found. It has a lovely staff and a friendly atmosphere, but everything takes far too long. The restaurant offers a limited menu, and with items often in short supply, there is much room for improvement. Lunch service takes an hour, and scheduled activities like massages and island hopping are consistently delayed (likely due to third-party vendors). The pictures online provide a very selective and flattering view of the resort. The New Year’s party was greatly arranged by the hotel!!! Rating: 3 out of 5 The cottages/houses are lovely and match the pictures online, the overall experience does not fully align with an international standard, despite the high pricing.

A hotel with a very poor condition. Garden is not well maintained, restaurant is terrible, no charm at all. Photos are not reflecting the reality at all. Absolute non-sense for the price the hotel is charging. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. See my photos which reflect the reality. Restaurant is really bad and really expensive. Breakfast is as per in a 1-star hotel, definitely not the standard for the price paid. The tree-house room was supposed to be 94m2 - not sure where they found those square meters - the bedroom was less than 20m2 for sure. They probably count all the hidden spaces. The only positive point is the staff, which is very nice

Best hotel in Moalboal. Love that the beach is easily accessible and great for snorkeling. Saw some beautiful fishes and sea turtles.

Excellent customer service

숙소 시설과 수영장등 시설은 조금 낡은 부분이 있으나, 깨끗하게 관리되어서 사용하는데 문제는 없습니다. 주변 풍경이 굉장히 좋고 내부의 조경도 훌륭합니다. 직원분들은 모두 친절하고 굉장히 프로페셔널 합니다. 다만 레스토랑이 저희 입맛에 안맞아서 일수도 있겠지만, 맛에 대하여 개선할 필요가 있을 것 같아요.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the resort. I wish there was a safety deposit box and a hair blower. Also the treehouse 2 that we stayed in doesn’t have warm water, it’s not working and the aircon is old and bit noisy. Other than that, everything is wonderful.

Staff is super friendly and it has a nice location for the ones who want to visit the falls. However, the room had a strong smell of mold, as it wals closed for many days. But i still recomend it!

규모가 작은 리조트지만 수영장이 2개나 있고 바로 앞에 비치가 있어 물놀이 하기에 그만입니다. 위치상 워낙 외딴 곳이라 교통편을 걱정했는데 호텔측에 요청하면 바로 트라이시클을 불러주어 편하게 이용하였습니다. 단 트라이시클 요금은 운전사와 네고하여 지불해야 합니다. 리조트 측에서는 가격 협상에 관여하지 않더군요. 3가족이 함께 사용하여 여러 룸을 들어가볼수 있었는데 룸마다 특색이 있어 재미있었습니다. 전반적으로 모든 룸이 널찍한 편입니다. 로비에는 직원이 항상 상주해있지 않아서 벨을 누르고 기다리거나, 다른 직원에게 불러달라고 하거나, 직접 찾으러 다니는 일도 있을 수 있습니다. 워낙 여유로운 곳이므로 도심호텔의 신속정확함은 기대하지 않는것이 좋습니다.

Hesitant if the room was really cleaned prior to us occupying it because there were termite droppings from the wood in the ceiling that fell on the floor pillow/rag below.

Staff are helpful all full of hospitality. Toiletries provide convenience. Beach side is beautiful and quite. The road connects to the resort is unpaved and bumpy. It gets worse in raining day.

The road to the hotel was a disaster. Should pave the holes on the ground. Stayed at the treehouse hoping for a honeymoon vacay but regretted this decision immediately once we are inside. - The cupboard was old, when we tried to open the door, it feel out and almost cut my bf's toes. -Only provided 2 complimentary water bottles, so if need more water you'll have to go to the restaurant to get a pitcher of water How inconvenient.Why cant you just put a water dispenser in the room and replace it once empty. The hotel I stayed in Moalboal did this and didn't expected a hotel that I paid more to be worse than it. - Phone in the room was out of order. If we needed anything we had to walk to the reception or restaurant. How inconvenient. I told the reception about this and she replied. I know. Why don't you fix it?? - The shower room door lock is out of order. They left a bucket in the shower room and we were wondering what it was for and realized it was to use to block the door when you are showering. Fix the damn door lock!! It's a hotel, not your house. - We found a dead lizard in the toilet. - There was this party going on next door, loud music and a guy talking all day all night. Came here to relax but felt disturbed all day. - Provided only 2 instant coffee Some people don't drink coffee. Where's the tea - Food in restaurant was pretty decent. On the pricier side but we came to enjoy the hotel and service. Staff in the restaurant were the only ones who gave good service

Sehr schöne Anlage mit super freundlichem Personal. Vor allem Richard und Ronald verbreiten gute Laune. Das hauseigene Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Club serena is in a very secluded place, nice for some privacy and peaceful stay. Rooms very spacious, clean but are a little outdated, toilet is old but full of toiletries, it was kind of hard to flush. No wifi in the room but it is ok. The facility is huge and clean. You could tell the place is really pretty at its time. Swimming pool is huge and beach in front, staff are really nice. Food at the restaurant is nice and reasonably priced. Staff at restaurant are superb.
