The stay was pleasant with no issues. Great bedroom, bed and great breakfast. Shame no EV charging but not the end of the world,

Good stay at the hotel

Checked in around 7pm. During check in staff walked off to discuss staffing issues with other staff members and left us waiting. We asked we dining and advised re times. Didn’t advise to book. Tried to visit restaurant told no space ( clearly was ) and had large tables coming in. We ordered a take out. Whilst waiting in reception for this no further guests entered the dining room (50 mins). I approached reception to suggest they encourage people to book in advance if hotel is busy ( Premier inn had emailed us the week before to do this !) Staff member cut me off part way through and said. I have been advising people book on check in. Booked a suite sofa bed very poor quality. Stayed last year and it’s not half as good as it was before. Tables not laid out for hot food at breakfast and slow service at lunch. Very poor overall.

Door cards did not work had to be escorted to room anytime you went out Only one lift working for a large hotel that was extremely busy

when we booked it was for a king room , none left so got a queen room which was ok but the plug in the sink was jammed and we couldn't empty the sink we asked for it to be sorted they removed the plug but then couldn't fill the sink up . I asked to speak to some one re a room change or discount the receptionist said she would call the duty Manager to speak to me we waited almost an hour but no one came very poor . we are in the restaurant poor choice on menu ordered burger asked for Mayonaise and a glass of wine neither came after 20 mins hubby went to the bar and i found mayo on another table very poor service and disappointing as this was not my first trip here but will be my last

Business travel so limited time but extremely comfortable and great location for clients to visit next morning.

This is a lovely hotel with fantastic fitness facilities. Everything about the hotel is lovely other than the room I stayed in. Paid extra for an improved room but the bed I slept in was probably the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in

Could do with better sound proofing and perhaps fix the bottom of the door so that light from the outside hallway doesn’t shine through

I stay here quiet often with work. It does what it says on the tin. Breakfast isnt cheap but its nice. Gym facilities great. Clean and tidy No power sockets next to the bed which is very frustrating and why its not a 5star. Especially when there is power clearly near the bed.

Couldn’t want or need anything more than this hotel offers, all the facilities, friendly staff and comfortable rooms

Reception extremely slow, took 15 mins to check-in even though there was only 1 person in queue. Room was a bit run down compared to the last time we stayed. Dust on lamps and paint scruffy. The restaurant was good service however, food not worth the money and bland.

Freezing cold rooms, do not stay here if you expect a comfortable temperature. Inadequate heating in the rooms. Only 1 tiny electric heater, not enough capacity to heat such a big room. Not heating in bathroom. I asked to be moved, still exactly the same. They charged me best part of £200 to be freezing cold. Trying to save money by not heating the rooms, you don’t expect this from Hilton. I woke in the night with a nasty chill. Did not sleep after that.

All great No issues, i have booked again through work. Breakfast very good and evening meal. Pool and sauna an added benefit!

Plenty free parking. Helpful staff, big clean room. Mattress was a bit hard and uncomfortable on big king-size bed.

Comfortable and very friendly staff

Have not been at the DT for a while but was back for a short stay. There can be no doubt that there is a need for an upgrade within the hotel but in many ways the staff make up for this. Always; helpful, polite and incredibly friendly. To all those many Hotels in the area, where I have stayed...my advice would be; make a visit, watch, listen and learn...to how it should be done I will be back

This hotel was excellent breakfast was great and staff was amazing and efficient and friendly, check in was amazing from Gwen and room was good couldn’t fault the hotel at all very very good experience

Overall great stay when we pointed out that they had not left coffee and milk in the room it was sorted and given drinks in the bar which was great we also asked that shower gel be topped up needless to say this was not done but Ann the duty manager took it up and was really apologetic and gave us breakfast where Ann Marie was just like Ann really apologetic these two ladies really impressed me and the wife that we will be back again
