Lovely place to stay in Ullapool - stayed here last year and coming back again next month as it’s a great option for both the ferry and NC500

The room was stiflingly hot all night. There was no heater on in the room, but we were on the second floor and the heat must have been coming from the room below. Didn’t get 5 minutes of sleep. Couldn’t open the window because of swarms of Midges. Truly was a night from hell. Other than that the hotel was okay.

Amazing location, view of the loch and the staff were fantastic.

What an excellent find. We stayed only one night on the way to the Isle of Lewis. The room was comfortable with an outlook over Loch Broom. A warm welcome was given by the owner. This is not a criticism but merely an observation. You sent a letter via Hotels.com stating that the rooms are small. Well we disagree. We have been to numerous hotel over the years and your rooms, in our opinion are not small but comfortable, modern and spacious in comparison to some hotels we have stayed in. We suggest you may wish to have a rethink about your letter as this may put people off which would be a great shame as your B and B is excellent and a real gem.

Très bon Accueil, dans l’ensemble propre, chambre face au lac neuve, paisible. Petit déjeuner correct, manque un peu de choix. Salle de bain ok mais chauffe eau electrique dans les cabines face au lac, manque de pression.

We had a recent 2 night stay whilst waiting to cross over to Stornoway. Harbour House has a great location on the edge of Ullapool and we had a lovely view from our sea-view room. The room was compact and functional but it all worked as it should and was very clean. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and the staff throughout were all really pleasant. Ullapool is a lovely little town, we had some lovely walks and there is a great choice of pubs, cafes and fish and chip shops in the town. Well worth a visit

Small room and en-suite but very clean with all the facilities you need. All in perfect decorative order. Comfortable bed and great choice of breakfast in the morning. Very handy for harbour and ferry to Stornoway. Would definitely stay again next time in Ullapool.

A beautiful location right on the water! Incredible views from a lovely sitting lounge and from the deck. Very easy check in, quiet and updated rooms and the breakfast was a selection of hot options and continental breakfast. Lovely atmosphere with traditional Scottish music rather that the modern pop we heard in most restaurants. We really enjoyed this location and would recommend it to anyone.

Great value property, especially for the NC500. Clean, recently done rooms. Convenient and nice view from the lounge/breakfast area! Very nice staff
