Where do we begin? We arrived at the hotel, and the staff was courteous and very accommodating. Lunch and dinner at the hotel was exquisite, the room was clean and immaculately appointed, and our night’s sleep was peaceful. The Sherbrooke is a hidden gem, and we will tell anyone who visits Glasgow to stay there! Thank you all for such a marvelous stay.

The staff was quite friendly. The room I had was quite misleading: though it said “executive” it was far from it. No elevator so 4 flights of stairs, narrow passages. There was no refrigerator, but beds were comfy. A child’s unicorn sticker was left behind on the ceiling. The bathroom was not quite helpful unless all you wanted to do is use water facilities. The mirror was a table top mirror that rested at a small child’s height—so for someone over 40, hunching over to get ready was not ergonomically sound. Good location with on-site parking. Entrance, bar and restaurant area are warm and attractive. Checkin was quick and efficient. Our room is on the top floor (we always get the top room!). Our room is quite spacious spotlessly clean, comfortable, and nice.ly decorated.

The breakfast was filling. The staffs are very polite and helpful. We made coffee late at night and need some milk, and the night staff gladly gave us some milk. The hotel has very charming old fashioned style that we loved. Throughput it was very lovely stay.

The room was in need of some serious updating. We stayed at The Crossbasket Hotel and it was close in price but 10 times nicer. Would not recommend.

The grounds and the hotel were absolutely beautiful! Easy to walk to the train to get to the city center (if you use the train be aware of the schedule, the trains are NOT often). The bathroom and a shower were marvelous after a week of hiking on the Isle of Skye. The mattress was only complaint. Felt old and there are people divots on both sides of the bed. The room was clean and quiet. The bar downstairs elegant. Lovely and stay!

The grounds and hotel were lovely, we had great view of the city from our windows. The hotel staff was wonderful and very helpful. We had dinner on site and drinks at the bar, everything was excellent. The room was very clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again if we ever find our way back to Glasgow.
