The location of Mercure Ambassador Hotel, Hongdae is worth noting. Situated in the heart of Hongdae, I appreciated the convenience of being close to shopping, dining, and entertainment options. The accessibility to the subway station made it effortless to explore other parts of Seoul. The hotel staff's attentiveness and genuine hospitality made me feel welcomed and valued throughout my stay. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and meticulously clean. The amenities provided, including the comfortable bed, modern bathroom facilities, and complimentary toiletries.

Service at this hotel is nothing short of superb. Hotel staff helped me find places to eat, order taxis for me, even helped me to order some food for delivery! Of course, I paid for it, haha! I had luggage that was delayed to a flight that would arrive the next day and they took care of everything while I slept for an early train ride to Busan. Had to go out to buy some clothes cause of the missing luggage but there is no shortage of places to shop nearby. Food options nearby are great too, even if you eat halal. Highly would recommend this hotel again.

The breakfast is totally disaster! Almost all food is served cold, very less options, coffee is just a coloured water. The breakfast should close at 10:00am but no refill at 9:30am so you look at the counter just like food waste. I stay for 4 night, try 2nd morning and we decided to give up. The Breaksat was charge at special 19,x00w per person and we waste that. Hotel location is good, stay there is fine but DON‘T book and pay extra for the breakfast!

Great location. Near so many shops, clothing stores, restaurants and the metro. Literally everything seconds away. The ideal location. Hotel was really clean and modern. Staff was extremely helpful, accommodating and kind. Loved this place, highly recommend.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and generous—better than some five-star hotels we’ve stayed at.
We were upgraded and accommodated in three adjoining rooms, which was impressive given it’s a medium-scale hotel and not an easy arrangement to make.
The housekeeping team noticed we frequently used the in-room coffee and water, and kindly replenished extra without being asked. We usually ask for an extra tissue box for the bathroom. The housekeepers were thoughtful enough to refill it for us proactively. The concierge and receptionist were equally considerate—helping with our luggage, calling taxis, and even handing us umbrellas and bottled water so we could head out and enjoy the day.

這間是四星飯店，但是跟我前幾天在明洞住的三星飯店相比，沒有比較好，沒有浴缸，價錢卻高了2000台幣左右，覺得cp值較低，最大的優點是地點，在弘大鬧區中心，逛街、坐地鐵或公車都很方便。有健身房，但只開到晚上十點，逛街回來就沒辦法用了。
