Barceló Lanzarote Royal Level

The hotel was lovely, nice quiet location but within walking distance of shops and bars. My only niggle would be the evening food selection. I stayed in the Royal section but the food was better in the standard restaurant. Apart from that, the hotel was great, staff were excellent and I would highly recommend staying there

Lovely stay for a solo traveller needing a relaxing holiday, so much to do at the resort & the staff were very friendly and happy to help! Entertainment every night and food was amazing & abundant. Only thing was wish the Olympic pool was free, had to pay €4 per swim

It is a nice hotel with good pool areas, but I felt quite let down by a few aspects. Check-in: I had to wait 20 minutes just to check-in, which isn't what I expected from the 'VIP check-in' promised by Expedia. I was offered water or orange juice, but saw other people getting cava! Staff seemed a bit stressed, perhaps not enough staff available to cope with the number of guests. I wasn't able to get into my room straight away which was a a bit frustrating, but it was before 3pm and they said they'd call when the room was ready. When I heard nothing by 3:15pm, I went back to the desk and found out it was ready. Room: My room was in block 1, and sort of overlooked the lobby. It was so so noisy. After a very early start to travel that morning, I was desperate for a restful night so was heartbroken when at 8pm the entertainment in the lobby bar kicked off. It was so loud in my room, I might as well have been down there in the bar. I had to turn the TV up very loud to compete with the noise! When I complained, reception said they might have another room round the corner I could move to, but didn't know if it was clean yet. I was so exhausted I chose not to, but asked if they could try to move me the next day. They were fully booked so were not able to. My holiday was really saved by my ear plugs. Even after the entertainment and booming music stopped, every sound in the lobby echoed loudly - voices, furniture scraping on the floors. I went on holiday to rest and recharge, and

Huge complex about 30-50 minute walk into town. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable but there was a foul sewage type smell in bathroom. Food was good and staff generally friendly. Noise from pool disco was intrusive. Reception staff were not interested. Said it's an active resort so all rooms are like that. Pity

Good experience: - The royal restaurant is generally better at food quality and you get bottled drinks - The swimming pools are well maintained and feel clean - The royal experience desk staff is super friendly and helpful - Evening live music is good - The beach is good to have as a marketing advantage, but it’s not maintained and practically abandoned - Hotel car parking was never an issue Bad experience: - The hotel claims it’s not allowed to reserve sunbeds. If you’re 2 minutes late though (opens at 9:00), you’re not going to find anything available. The “racing” queue starts at around 8:30 and it’s just pathetic. Why does the hotel allow this behavior? See photos. - Dead cockroaches inside and outside the restaurants (not very royal if you ask me) - Very bad outside cleaning in general, stains and just dirty when it gets wet - The bars are supposed to serve food/snacks until 17:30 and the drinks until 18:00. In reality, the food section guy leaves for the day around 17:00 and the cocktails stop at 17:20-17:30 (you can still get regular stuff like soda though) - based on the Goa bar experience - The food choices are not very friendly if one doesn’t eat pork. There were days when 4 out of 5 options were pork. I understand it’s cheaper but some inclusiveness would be appreciated nonetheless Conclusion: good hotel. A bit worn down. Could use some proper cleaning. I wouldn’t stay here more than once. Thank you very much for the warm welcome and the stay!

Family trip, hotel offers many amenities, always something to do, great fitness center, olimpic pool. Yoga, cycling inside pool, water polo, all sorts. Animation team at night was amazing, guys really did keep kids entertained. The island also offers great touristy attractions to see..

Had a great time here. Staff were fab, Hannah and Eva in particular were lovely! Food was very good and tonnes of choice (we were all inclusive). Very nice and secluded beach nearby that takes a little bravery to swim but worth it. The royal level felt much more intimate and way less kids than the main facilities.

Très bel hôtel avec une belle chambre royal vue sur mer. Spacieuse. Les repas étaient très biens de qualité. J’ai apprécié les espaces Royal. Un seul point négatif : le bruit pendant la soirée et nuit

Séjour très agréable, animateur et animation au top malgré que nous sommes en pleines saisons, ça se voit qu'ils sont passionnées. Nous recommandons a 100% cet hébergement et cet régions pour un couple de 25 ans

Super clean hotel room, generally nice staff, I booked a half board stay for 6 nights Food is not bad - buffet style however I wish I had more chances to go out into town for local food! This resort is farther away from Costa Teguise town centre but it's fit for purpose of my trip - to unwind and stay away from hustle and hustle. Other hotel guests are generally nice (without people who go crazy loud at night, etc.) Good facilities, pools, gym, a full schedule of activities every single day. Will stay here again next time I come to Lanzarote!

Alles wie beschrieben sehr schön, aus meiner Sicht sollten alle Pools beheizt werden, weil genügend grüne preiswerte Energie vorhanden sein sollte

We stayed at the Royal resort, which was quieter. The building is good and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was plenty of variation and good quality. There were always enough sun lounges to sunbath by the pool. The staff were friendly, respectful and very helpful.
