We loved our stay at Ohla Barcelona: one of the warmest receptions we've had check-in, an experience which was replicated by all the staff here. We stayed in a junior deluxe suite (a complimentary upgrade from the junior suite we booked) which was impeccable: clean, outstanding bed, beautiful, moody bathroom with slick lighting, and quiet despite the bustling city all around. Ohla is perfectly situated to view everything in the gothic quarter, a straight shot down the road to the beach, and easy to get intentionally lost among the myriad little cobbled streets with their amazing local shops and restaurants. Rooftop bar was fantastic, as was the daily breakfast. Thanks again to the excellent staff at this hotel who made our final four days in Spain so memorable, Ohla is now our go to for Barcelona!

The location is excellent for walking the gothic and born quarters which are most interesting. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Breakfasts and all service were first class. Location is excellent very close to shops, cafes, restaurants, metro, tourist sites, etc. Now for the loss of one star is… The room was ok, very small and the tv streaming service was not working very well. But that’s ok because we spent more time out exploring. Would consider staying here again in the future.

The concierge service was equally impressive – knowledgeable, attentive and always happy to help with thoughtful recommendations and seamless arrangements. A real highlight was dining at La Plasohla restaurant, where both the food and service were outstanding. The atmosphere was vibrant yet refined, and it was clear that great care is taken to ensure guests have a first-class experience. The New Year entertainment laid on by the hotel was amazing, creating a festive, stylish and unforgettable celebration that felt both special and effortlessly well organised. A particular mention must go to Anise, the Food and Beverage Manager, whose leadership and attention to detail were evident throughout. Her passion for hospitality truly shines through and elevates the entire dining and guest experience. Hotel Ohla combines luxury, warmth and impeccable service in a prime Barcelona location. Our stay at Hotel Ohla Barcelona over the New Year period was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after at every turn. The reception team were warm, efficient and professional, setting the tone for a truly memorable stay. The concierge service was equally impressive – knowledgeable, attentive and always happy to help with thoughtful recommendations and seamless arrangements. A real highlight was dining at La Plasohla restaurant, where both the food and service were outstanding. The atmosphere was vibrant yet refined, and it was clear that great care is taken to ensure guests have a first-class experience. The New Year entertainment laid on by the hotel was amazing, creating a festive, stylish and unforgettable celebration that felt both special and effortlessly well organised. A particular mention must go to Anise, the Food and Beverage Manager, whose leadership and attention to detail were evident throughout. Her passion for hospitality truly shines through and elevates the entire dining and guest experience. Hotel Ohla combines luxury, warmth and impeccable service in a prime Barcelona location. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined yet welcoming city stay.

The staff were fantastic but the rooms are definitely not five star standards. The bathroom is tiny. The bath is an open bath, so not usable if this is a family travel. The location is excellent.

The standout feature of our stay was the staff who really went the extra miles to make is feel welcome. I celebrated my birthday during the start and the hotel staff were really fabulous and I was also provided with a gift of a bottle of cava on arrival in the early evening. The facilities were also really good and the rooftop bar is a glorious spot
