Overall, a very good hotel in a very convenient location. The stay was very pleasurable. The only problem we had was the way the staff treated us in the breakfast hall full of guests. My wife took one of those honey sachet in her plate while having breakfast. However, she didn’t feel like having it then so decided to take it with her to have it later. Whilst leaving the waitress wished us goodbye and then noticed the honey pouch in my wife’s hand. She immediately stopped us in the middle of the hall and loudly said “sorry madam, you’re not allowed to take the honey with you. If you take things like this, what would be left for other guests”. It wasn’t like she was taking an extra one with her. It was the one she got for herself in the first place and was meant for her!!! We teied explaining her but she didn’t budge. In order to save any further arguments, we just left the honey and left. It was very unprofessional of the waitress to treat their guests in such embarrassing way in front of other guests.

Property is about 15 min walk from
Zurich HB. But just off the main road so easy to navigate, has shops close by and lots of trams go past so easy to travel round Zurich. The area was clean and safe. The staff were wonderful, the room was large with large bathrooms. And the breakfast was lovely! Would stay here again!!

Alt med hotellet var veldig bra. Skuffelsen kom da vi bestilte taxi til flyplassen hvor vi spurte om prisen på 80 CHF var en fast pris som oppslått i resepsjonen. Dette stemte ikke, taxien skulle ha 93 CHF! Sterk oppfordring til resespsjonen: Fjern oppslaget om 80 CHF for taxi til flyplassen!

The hotel in general, especially the showers are not suitable for a 4 star property. The rooms are old and stained even though maintained to be quite clean. The breakfast served me a raw meatball in which made me avoid breakfast for the rest of my stay. I will avoid this property the next time I visit Zurich.
