InterContinental Hotels KOH SAMUI RESORT by IHG

The hotel was absolutely magnificent with an incredible view. The staff were fantastic, especially at the pool bar with Mr. Kong, who is always very efficient and friendly, as well as Mrs. Katie from the Flame restaurant.

10/10 you can't fault anything in this resort. The staff is absolutely great and so courteous, especially Tangmo, she went above and beyond to make sure my stay was above satisfactory. I had the Best time at this resort. Everything is so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️

오션뷰가 아주 멋진데 테라스가 넓어서 사진보다는 방 내부는 좁은 느낌이었습니다. 그리고 시설은 좀 노후됐는데 깔끔하게 관리하고 있습니다.

It’s a nice property, but needs a renovation and new management. The Swedish manager that I suffer is not capable of making a decent team of his employees and even keep the property clean at the level of their pricing. The employees have goodwill but when a property is badly manage the team becomes an operational nightmare. Find another property to enjoy your holidays until this one finds its way and attention to detail in line with their premium pricing

A special resort with amazing views, beautiful landscaping and excellent staff service. Breakfast buffet is one of the best I have seen.

We have spent a wonderful time staying in a family villa with 2 bedrooms for 4 nights. The villa is comfortable and spacious. The ocean view was terrific and, in particular, excellent for the sunset. The servicing team was sincere and helpful. 😃😃

Amazing hotel!!!

Hotel is in a nice spot but needs renovation! we had a villa on the beach which was nice but way too expensive for the quality. Staff nice but often inexperienced. Only two restaurants, food was not impressive compared to Bkk/Hua Hin 5star restaurants. New years eve party overpriced and hardly any firework. Better choose Chaweng hotels!

The Intercontinental is in a beautiful location on the West Coast of Koh Samui with stunning views and sunsets. The room was extremely spacious and was nicely decorated. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

Beautiful location, high quality food and drink and brilliantly attentive staff. Lots of children during school holidays but couples or solo travellers can use the adults-only pool, which is empty and peaceful. Thoroughly recommend!

Everything was just fabulous

Un personnel d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Un cadre remarquable. En 10 ans les équipements ont un peu vieilli mais la qualité reste excellente. Une mention spéciale aux équipes de l’accueil qui nous ont beaucoup aidé pour récupérer notre valise oubliée par Air France. La vue reste magique !!

Inter continental Koh Samui is located in the secluded area called the Baan Taling Ngam beach. It's 50 min ride from the airport and it seems there's no neighborhood near by. Also since the hotel is built on a cliff, to reach the restaurant or the beach, you always need to call a buggy. You could walk down a flight of stairs to get to the beach from the lobby, and it's quite fun as you have to pass a suspension bridge, but it's difficult to do so several times a day as it is very hot. So buggy it is. Staffs are all very sweet but they are not very skillful at their jobs. Nobody comes to me first, I always have to go ask for things even when checking in! Also I had experienced difficulties communicating with the staffs in English. Furthermore, the HandiGo app they make you download as soon as you check in, it's not very helpful as they don't reply to your chat for 30 minutes and even then, you some times experience difficulties in communication. Finally, the hotel is known for its great veiw of the sunset. However, I stayed three nights and didn't get to see the sunset, not even once!, due to the weather. So if you are choosing this hotel for the sunset, check with the weather before you come.
