Beautiful hotel! Near many sites- we had a balcony looking into the river and the lights from the bridge and river boats were beautiful! The room was clean, comfortable and even had a free plate of fruit and water waiting for us.

Very slow. First the piccolo sits you down on a sofa, right in front of the reception, about 25min later a receptionist comes up and ask me if I want to check in? Then you have to fill out like an application and write down your credit card no on paper, does not feel safe

Lovely property with professional, helpful staff. Quiet even if your room faces the street but recommend river facing. Good food. Very clean. Easy access to river taxi & ferry services. Close to several major temples & the palace & various museums. Close to Khao San Road. Lots of restaurants, spas & shopping very close by. Would definitely go back if in Bangkok again.

Great location. Nice hotel. Although we were put in a room with a river view right but over the hotel swimming pool. All people relaxing under the cabana could look into our room on 1st floor. The hotel is a short walk to river Ferry and to Khao San Road and surrounds. Charming district of Bangkok. Would recommend Riva Surya as its value for money in a great location.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel reception, we knew it was a special place. The staff were exceptional! The hotel is right on the river with amazing views. We had a room with a big terrace and sun loungers overlooking the pool and river, which was perfect for cocktails and river boats watching! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The cherry on top was the pool, so beautiful and there was nothing better than starting our day with a very early morning swim, when the “hotel” was still sleeping, the waitress would bring us a coffee…bliss! The location is great, walking distance to Kao Sarn Road without all the noise and raucous people..Grab taxis are very cheap to get you places and the boat in front of the hotel gets you to temples and a great shopping centre! this hotel was the only 4 stars in our 2 weeks holiday in Thailand, but it was everything like a 5 stars, don’t hesitate and book it! We stayed 3 nights here for temples, Chinatown and Kao sarn rd and 1 night at the Eastin phayathai to be in the city centre for shopping. Great experience, loved Bangkok.
