had space to park a 3 tonne truck, and a hotel room that was spacious, a shower that was powerful enough to get the deep road grime off, and an overall smooth check in / check out experience

Buildings and room not like pictures. Access was by staircase at rear of property, it appeared unsafe, especially after dark. Room had no natural light, recycled air con only. Bathroom initially looked clean but shower had what looked like urine splashes around the lower walls. Building was unkempt and neglected. We returned our key and did not sleep there.

The place looked abandoned initially. Large entrance & foyer is all locked up & in darkness, went next door to check in at public bar. Single thin interior doors divided rooms, we could hear our neighbours conversations. gardens & traffic islands in carpark are overgrown with weeds & littered with rubbish. Our room stank terribly of cigarette smoke. Very outdated room in general. Worst hotel experience ever, felt like we were renting a dodgy hotel room by the hour, very seedy place

Staff went above and beyond. No further comments.

Overall not really wheelchair accessible, the room had a step to get in and no accessible facilities. There was no blankets in the room and the AC didn’t heat even thou it had reverse cycle. Staff were friendly, property would only be recommendable for someone passing through who needs a place to stay for the night.

Power went off after plugging in a toaster, power not restored so given another room.

Reception not helpful My money was not refunded when washing machine stop due to water stoppage in hotel

We found this property nothing like the photo’s. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly and the shower dripped all night. For what they charge for the night, you would think they could spend some money on refurbishing the place. At least the staff were friendly.

Check in was easy and and rooms were relatively quiet from the main road noise. Served our family needs although there were some leaking showers and taps in the bathroom.

Our room was very different to all those on the photos. The outside of the hotel definitely is a little tired, noticed a few broken windows which made us question the safety of the area. That said, everything was quiet and no issues occurred.

Room needs to renovated, bad isolation between the room

Nothing unique the shower collapsed the first night and stayed that way until we left. Had to boil the jug on the floor where the power point was. Hubby who is 78 had to climb on a chair as the tv had been turned off . Had no tv the first day, as someone had also removed the aerial cord behind the tv. Never did get to have a proper shower.

Bad even by pub standards. Late arrival probably didn't help but the complete lack of interest from the staff started things badly and it went down hill from there. Room was hidden around the back and turned out to be down a locked hallway, nothing at all like the pictures on line. Obvious converted storeroom with no windows and a tiny tv with no means of operating it. the lack of windows was probably a blessing given the view outside was a rubbish storage area. The room itself was badly stained but reasonably clean bathroom. The outside really let the place down, filthy and damaged exterior overlooking a rubbish storage area. tried talking to staff but they were not interested in motel side of business at all. We had booked 4 nights but checked out after 1 seeking a refund for the remaining nights which was of course refused. It is possible the front rooms may have been to a better standard but we were not offered any choices. Staff attitude was basically "take it or leave it, we don't care".
