The ' suite' fridge leaked water the whole time [ 3 days], we were there ! Storage containers [ recyclables], of food in fridge became soggy and wet; had to throw out a lot good food, gone SOGGY, because of the water..ON EVERY SHELF ! Reported this to the ' front desk '. Was told somebody would be up there Sun. am at 10:30 am to resolve the problem. Come 10:30, 11:00, 11:30 am, NO ONE showed up . On check out Mon. am, I specifically told Ravi Soni[ operations manager ] about the problem and that I was very disappointed in the non-response to the leaking fridge. I also told him that one of the bathroom doors in one the bedrooms did not close at all , which was annoying to say the least. I inquired of Ravi, about compensation of the leaking fridge; he said something could be worked out the next time I booked; say what ? the next time ? I did tell him that our family had been doing this Christmas get-together going on 3 yrs. and that it worked out for everyone in our family; book a suite with 2 bdrms., and facilities for cooking , etc.I told him , instead of booking for next year at that moment, that I would be searching out other accomodation options; i.e., Holiday Inn next door, or Best Western hotels or or other hotels in the GTA East, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa areas; Ravi basically ' blew me off ', and I left; and NOT in a good frame of mind. I must say kudos to the housekeeping staff; they do a fabulous job and in a very friendly manner.....better than ' front desk '.
