Lots of variety for breakfast- best hotel breakfast we’ve had for a couple years

The room was very clean. The pool was warm and hot tub was hot.the hours of pool was great too 6am to 11pm. Breakfest was good too.only thing is the bed was not comfortable it was indented in the middle so you would roll. But i would recomend this hotel

The rooms has no heat it was so cold both rooms they changed me from one and put me in another and it was the same thing cold . I wasn’t happy.

I was very happy with this hotel and was sad when we left. Will definitely stay here again.

Always a lovely stay

For 200$, a night, the pool and hot tub (green mold) seemed a bit tired/ old, and the actual room smelled of fried food....otherwise, clean, it was all fine.

The breakfast was not bad but was served on paper plates with plastic forks. There’s no reason why ceramic tableware couldn’t be used and it would be better for the environment. The room was not made up on Dec 25 and 26 to give staff time off for Christmas but I stayed until the 28 and did not receive housekeeping at all. I would assume staffing is a problem or just laziness but is an insufficient excuse when we as the public are paying for a product that is not delivered.

Clean and quiet stay

The ' suite' fridge leaked water the whole time [ 3 days], we were there ! Storage containers [ recyclables], of food in fridge became soggy and wet; had to throw out a lot good food, gone SOGGY, because of the water..ON EVERY SHELF ! Reported this to the ' front desk '. Was told somebody would be up there Sun. am at 10:30 am to resolve the problem. Come 10:30, 11:00, 11:30 am, NO ONE showed up . On check out Mon. am, I specifically told Ravi Soni[ operations manager ] about the problem and that I was very disappointed in the non-response to the leaking fridge. I also told him that one of the bathroom doors in one the bedrooms did not close at all , which was annoying to say the least. I inquired of Ravi, about compensation of the leaking fridge; he said something could be worked out the next time I booked; say what ? the next time ? I did tell him that our family had been doing this Christmas get-together going on 3 yrs. and that it worked out for everyone in our family; book a suite with 2 bdrms., and facilities for cooking , etc.I told him , instead of booking for next year at that moment, that I would be searching out other accomodation options; i.e., Holiday Inn next door, or Best Western hotels or or other hotels in the GTA East, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa areas; Ravi basically ' blew me off ', and I left; and NOT in a good frame of mind. I must say kudos to the housekeeping staff; they do a fabulous job and in a very friendly manner.....better than ' front desk '.

Great on-site laundry facilities loonies only, breakfast buffet was hot & plentiful room was comfortable shower water pressure was little low but great stay

Everything was wonderful. I usually stay at Holiday Inn because I’m guaranteed a good experience but this time, it was way too expensive. So I stayed at Residence! It was amazing — clean, courteous staff and a quick check in. From now on, Residence Inn is my hotel of choice. Thank you.

Comfortable and Quiet, Pool and Hot tub are great. Rooms are very large with full kitchen and dishwasher

The pull out couch was barely a bed, it was so thin and uncomfortable my 11 year old who weighs 80lbs soaking wet couldn’t get comfortable and the thin blankets left little additional comfort. Carpets also had questionable dark stains. However on the positive, it has everything you need for a stay in terms of a fully equipped kitchen in the room and all the utensils. The complementary breakfast was also pretty decent, and location was accessible. However I would not stay there again just due to it not having 2 bed rooms.

The suite was nicely furnished and very comfortable. Having a couch to sit down on was a nice option after working out of town. Clean kitchen with utensils and everything worked great. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was included and the dinning room was also clean. I would happily visit again.
