I arrived early, staff very friendly and sorted my room asap, nice clean room as advertised

Parking is very limited at the hotel, We prebooked at the nearby multi-story for £10 all day. The hotel is 20 minutes walk to the Metroplitan Tube or Watford Junction. The booking requires a further £50 Pre-authorisation at the reception desk. The room was basic. It was warm and appeared clean. If you can get over the 1980s decor the bathroom was functional and the shower powerful. The bed was not very comfortable, and we were woken up around 5am by the noisy extractor fan for the kitchen. We had breakfast at a local cafe which is 5 minutes away in the town centre and the hotel wanted £30 for breakfast. I would rate this an upper 2 star hotel.

Speedy wifi. But with a very small car park, although a large p&d car park is nearby.

Stayed for a business trip. Enjoyed every bit.

Room was spotless, heated nicely! Well kept!

Clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Sadly, there was a noise akin to a vacuum cleaner running on the floor above intermittently throughout the night. If you're a light sleeper I'd avoid this one. Otherwise it was good value and perfectly comfortable.

Good welcome

Myself and my wife had a great stay, clean room, comfy bed and hotel 15mins walk to the underground and Watford centre. When we arrived the person on reception was very nice and helpful. When I asked about the parking he advised that the car park was full I explained that I had arranged parking just incase this happened in a nearby car park. He then advised me that I could have parked in a car park just across the road for a discounted rate of £4 per 24hrs, I did advise him that on your website it does state the following:Free parking available. Charged offsite parking cost of £10.00 (per 24 hours). Street parking is not available. I had payed more than the £4 per 24hrs for our 4 night stay. If I was aware of this parking offer then I would have stayed in the nearer parking option. This did not in anyway spoil the stay as all the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. I will be staying again.

The hotel really needs some updating didn’t offer me breakfast or anything like it didn’t tell me it was included I stay two nights after the first night they entered into my room without knocking or anything they didn’t even knock on the door. They just burst right in. They said oh I thought you checked out and it was a male that works there and I’m a female and thank God I just wasn’t getting out of the shower because I was just about ready to jump in the shower when the guy burst into my room because I thought you checked out. I booked two reservations independently, but still you think you would knock on the door before you burst into the room. For the money they’re asking for the facility that they’re running come on who’s kidding who If it was $40 or more less, I wouldn’t be talking like this you get what you pay for

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room has everything you want from a budget hotel. Car park could be a little bigger but that's just the nature of the area. Sound proofing from outside wasn't over the top - you can hear the urban noise outside which is more relaxing to a city boy than triple glazed and clinically quiet rooms in some hotel chains. The room was a clean and tidy and the water pressure on the shower was excellent. The bed was comfy and gave me a great night's sleep which is the exact purpose of the hotel. The rooms do feel tired and like they could do with a refurb (you can see evidence of maintenance work over time) - but hey, it cost me £44, so no complaints. WiFi didn't quite reach the room reliabily (end of the corridor), but 5g signal was very good (on both three and ee) so this didn't affect me at all. Would definitely recommend - you're getting a good night's sleep in a fairly propositioned establishment for a very fair price.

Polite staff , rooms are good sized , fairly clean , downside was the bed being very soft as am used to sleeping on a firmer mattress

The staff were very accommodating.

Cooked breakfast not fresh, mostly overcooked. Rooms dated, shower curtains not long enough, taps dripped, room was cold and minimal duvet. Condensation running down windows every morning, Very minimal room, not cozy in the least. Staff on reception very pleasant. Overall a place to sleep but nothing else.

Rooms are recently renovated, great location for Watford high street, extremely helpful staff.

Large clean room and a comfy bed.

One of the most unpleasant stays I’ve ever experienced. Extremely noisy hotel from both the outside traffic and other guests. Bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever and was well past its sell by date! Room was dated, cold and very smelly! This hotel was cheap for a reason and a place I would not return to!
