Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Room Cleaning, Service Quality, and Unreturned Security Deposit
Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to file a formal complaint regarding my recent stay at your hotel. During the booking process, two rooms were reserved—one for two nights and another for one night. However, after checking in, we were surprised to find that there was no housekeeping service provided for the rooms. This is the first time we experience such an issue in any hotel worldwide.
In addition, we paid for the rooms in cash and requested a partial deduction from the total amount in compensation for the lack of room cleaning, but our request was denied. Furthermore, we were informed that if we needed towels, toiletries, shampoo, or other basic amenities, we would have to personally go to the reception to request and collect them. This practice is highly unusual and not acceptable in any reputable hotel.
Moreover, an amount of €50 was held on my credit card as a security deposit. Upon checking out, we asked for the refund to be processed immediately. Unfortunately, we were informed that the amount would be returned within two days to the credit card account. It has now been five days, and the amount has still not been refunded.
This overall experience was very disappointing and far below the standards expected from a hotel. I kindly request that you take the necessary action to resolve these issues and ensure the immediate refund of the security deposit.
