A wonderfully restful stay overlooking the stunning Lake Toya. The views from the room were spectacular, and the peaceful surroundings made it easy to disconnect and recharge. The onsen experience was especially relaxing, complemented by attentive service by the staff and management and comfortable facilities. A great place to pause, enjoy nature, and appreciate the slower pace of Hokkaido. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Great bar but Only thing- dining options could be better. But the nearby restaurants made up for that (when they were open)

Nice room

Although the hotel is above an isolated small local town, the walking areas around the lake are gorgeous and peaceful. The staff members are so very considerate to shuttle and pick up anywhere and anytime. They refer to you by name which makes one feel so cared for and appreciated. I consider this as very close to being one of my best hotel experiences.

고요한 we hotel에서 잘 쉬고 잘먹고 왔습니다. 눈이 많이 오고 인프라가 적은 곳이어서 걱정이 조금 있있었는데 친절한 직원분들과 깨끗한 객실에서 맘 놓고 잘 쉬었어요. 특히 조식과 석식시간이 아주 편안하게 제찰 식재료로 식사할수 있어서 아주 좋았습니다. 3일동안의 저녁식사를 하는동안 메뉴가 겹치지 않게 신경써주신 부분도 너무 감사했어요! (우엉스프가 너무 맛있어서 또 생각납니다^^) 다음에 따듯한때 다시 방문하고 싶습니다.

This is not the traditional type of big, luxurious Japanese onsen hotel but it’s new, relaxing, airy and chic. In room bath is great with amazing view from the room. Food (Japanese western fusion) is good and staff is friendly and helpful. There is a noodle bar which opens until late and is impressive for a hotel of this scale. The overall design is modern and chill. It’s a good place for urban getaway. The neighborhood is very quiet too. Outdoor onsen water is not hot enough which is worth improving. There is a notice which says that the bath may not be hot enough because of the cold temperature but winter around Lake Toya has always been like this so it’s not a good excuse.

view and villa was spectacular, but their service waqs poor, lack of staff and inflexibility. the rooms also have sink bugs (we killed 3) around so pest control is needed. the villa was luxurious but the villa is away from the main building so villa guest are on their own pretty much with zero support. the onsen is also in main building so u have to drive to get there or walk in the snow. veryall value for money (given its 1000$ USD a night...im not sure its value for money is there...maybe 600USD / night more like it.

Amazing hotel, great room the private tub is magical. Highly recommend the half board dinner was delicious! Staff was amazing. We would come back again.

I’m very disappointed with this hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were poor in quality and taste — definitely not worth the price for one night. In addition, the service attitude was bad. The staff simply placed the food on the table without explaining what it was, and didn’t say a single word throughout the whole meal. Is this really the standard of service in the hotel? Not recommended!!

Great view, super comfortable during quiet period. We will for sure come back again!
