Clean and spacious room. Nice onsen.

고요한 we hotel에서 잘 쉬고 잘먹고 왔습니다. 눈이 많이 오고 인프라가 적은 곳이어서 걱정이 조금 있있었는데 친절한 직원분들과 깨끗한 객실에서 맘 놓고 잘 쉬었어요. 특히 조식과 석식시간이 아주 편안하게 제찰 식재료로 식사할수 있어서 아주 좋았습니다. 3일동안의 저녁식사를 하는동안 메뉴가 겹치지 않게 신경써주신 부분도 너무 감사했어요! (우엉스프가 너무 맛있어서 또 생각납니다^^) 다음에 따듯한때 다시 방문하고 싶습니다.

This is not the traditional type of big, luxurious Japanese onsen hotel but it’s new, relaxing, airy and chic. In room bath is great with amazing view from the room. Food (Japanese western fusion) is good and staff is friendly and helpful. There is a noodle bar which opens until late and is impressive for a hotel of this scale. The overall design is modern and chill. It’s a good place for urban getaway. The neighborhood is very quiet too. Outdoor onsen water is not hot enough which is worth improving. There is a notice which says that the bath may not be hot enough because of the cold temperature but winter around Lake Toya has always been like this so it’s not a good excuse.

view and villa was spectacular, but their service waqs poor, lack of staff and inflexibility. the rooms also have sink bugs (we killed 3) around so pest control is needed. the villa was luxurious but the villa is away from the main building so villa guest are on their own pretty much with zero support. the onsen is also in main building so u have to drive to get there or walk in the snow. veryall value for money (given its 1000$ USD a night...im not sure its value for money is there...maybe 600USD / night more like it.

Amazing hotel, great room the private tub is magical. Highly recommend the half board dinner was delicious! Staff was amazing. We would come back again.

designer Kuma is a sure win price is set too high hence we were the only tenants mix up of menu should not happen at this price level

I’m very disappointed with this hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were poor in quality and taste — definitely not worth the price for one night. In addition, the service attitude was bad. The staff simply placed the food on the table without explaining what it was, and didn’t say a single word throughout the whole meal. Is this really the standard of service in the hotel? Not recommended!!

Amazing view, friendly staff, peaceful

The hotel looks absolutely stunning, the window is beautiful, you can see the whole lake view. It looks like a painting. The food is amazing, I told the hotel that I don’t eat fish and they were able to offer me alternatives. There is one outdoor onsen and one indoor, both are stunning. But, as an onsen hotel, there is not much to do within the hotel nor around the hotel. I didn’t know there is Omakase option until the day I leave, I hope the staff told me about it.

Have some of the most amazing and tranquil views imaginable of the lake. This hotel is away from the main town but offers a shuttle several times through the day and it is only a 10 minute ride highly recommend taking a ferry to the island in the middle of Lake Toya. The beds were super comfortable, and the food was traditional Japanese, which is not my favorite, but was good quality and generous. The staff were very friendly, but English was somewhat difficult for them. This was a great location to beat the heat that we had experienced in Tokyo and Kyoto, as it was unusually hot for June this visit we hiked around the island circumference which took about 2 1/2 hours. The water was really nice and I could see swimming there, but we just didn’t bring bathing suits. We learned from our relatives who live here that you can get pretty good food from 711 like these rice, seaweed wraps and things like that and green tea so those are perfect snacks to have for lunch or too tied one over Between meals. The shuttle stops right at the 711 so that is convenient. I know it sounds ridiculous to Americans, but the 711 in Japan is a lot better than America.

5 star all around except limited dinning options

服務很好，不過房間的wifi密碼並未如介紹時顯示在開電視時的飯店介紹畫面，後來聯繫櫃檯派人來處理；要睡覺時無法關燈，也是再聯繫了櫃檯人員來處理。房間設備的準備狀況，對性價比感到失望。
