Helpful and friendly staff

Room was large, clean. Staff was super helpful we did not have the breakfast served because we wanted to go into town to try the local foods. Carla was very nice and hospitable. And the front desk person during our checkout was very accommodating. Nice location! Very close to tram and everything you need

Love this hotel

For us, air conditioning is a must. The first room we were assigned on the 1st floor was hot and the AC was not working. We left the unit on for the day and went out exploring, and when we came back, the room was still hot. I got the night manager to come check it and he agreed it was not working, I asked for a fan and they did not had any, the recomendation was to open the window, we did, only to deal with bugs and mosquito bites, people smoking in the back yard and waking up to the smell. The next day we asked for a new room, we got one but the day manager insisted they checked the room and there was nothing wrong with it. The new room was no different. My recomendation is for you to find another hotel if you like AC. The staff was professional and courteous and they tried, but nothing they could do about it. Take with grain of salt, my daughters on the 3rd floor had no problems and their AC worked perfectly.

staff and location was great. 2 blocks from rijk and van gogh museum

Great location and a nice room. King bed was a little weird 2 twin beds pushed together with a large crack in the middle. AC worked well and internet was strong. Close trams to get to just about any where and very walkable to many things like a grocery store and restaurants. We had a great stay.

Everything was ok here. In the room there were several stains on the carpeting and the drapes had what appeared to be a hole from a burn. There were two pillows on the bed and when I asked for more they said they were fully booked and would do what they could. Like I said everything was ok here but for a hotel listing itself as a 4+star hotel, and 300+ euros a night,I expected better.

The hotel staff was very nice and the location was great. The rooms are in need of a deep clean and some paint. The bathroom has no ventilation, water from the shower gets everywhere and it has a very musty smell. The bottom of the bathroom door appeared to be rotting.

O Hotel é numa zona tranquila porém de fácil acesso para qualquer lugar. Tinha ar condicionado e era super limpo. A tv não era smart e o controle estava colado com durex. Mas a estada foi ótima. Ao lado de todos os museus e com equipe super atenciosa.

Great hotel right in the middle of everything. Clean, large and nice rooms. Only downside very expensive breakfast but that is solved since there are a lot of café nearby.

Excellent location for visiting the museums. On a fabulous quiet street. Comfortable beds. Quiet room. Really good air conditioning. Rain shower head for the shower with incredible water pressure. Staff very helpful. Easy to take team right to central train station. AMAZING. If I were to come back to Amsterdam I would be staying here!

The hotel felt central, and was perfect for what we needed. The location was close to reach sites around the city - walking and by nearby tram. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day. I recommend this boutique hotel for its simplicity, size and quiet location.

The hotel was perfect in every aspect - perfectly situated in the heart of the museum quarter, just across the road from the Van Gogh Museum, and 3 minutes from public transport, great food and quiet neighborhood. The hotel staff was kind and supportive. We will definitely come back

Be aware that there are rooms below ground. The room had a window way high up that you could not see out of. I was not aware of this when I booked the room. I am very claustrophobic and only lasted a few hours before having a panic attack. There were no available rooms on regular floors with walls so I had to switch hotels. They were helpful when I needed a different hotel. Expedia needs to be more clear when a room is below ground during the booking process. Not sure if I will be refunded for the second booked night or not.
