Not sure about the other reviews. Our stay was excellent. Room was clean, breakfast was good (though don't sit at the back, it gets hot!), and their laundry service was fast. It's right on the backpacker part of El Nido. Tons of beachfront bars and restaurants, right near the night market. There will be some noise, even on the beach side. And I'd temper your expectations to a nicer hotel on a hosteling street. But, price to value is right on the mark, and definitely a destination I'd visit again if we're staying in that part of the world.

Room was very clean considering it being right beside the beach. Staff were all very attentive and kind. Beach view was stunning, although not recommended to swim in due to the many boats parked there. Our room was on the third level so noise wasn't too bad, but noise is to be expected since it's in El Nido proper.

We had an ocean view upstairs. Really great! If you stay downstairs, there are rooms people walk by to get to breakfast- so if you need a lot of privacy, look for a room to the left as you face the beach Nice amenities and fresh water available. Staff was very nice and helpful. You are at the end of the main restaurant area, so it was good for our kids. Breakfast was good and different each day- Filipino style mainly but eggs cooked to order. The coffee could be improved, but you can go to a coffee shop close by if necessary. We booked in-room massages thru the front desk and they were great. Rooms are good size and we had plenty of storage for our 4 night stay. They'll clean your room as needed. There's direct beach access, but no swimming there. You can easily walk around town. We've stayed at Cuna hotel, Lagun hotel and this one. We enjoyed them all, but just seeing the boats and sunset right out your window is so relaxing. PS. There's no smoking in most of the town, but you can smoke on your balcony

The AC never got to the proper temperature, the mini refrigerator worked poorly, the shower was a disaster. Water gets everywhere when you shower. Definitely deceiving pictures, very noisy outside 24/7

The breakfast was basic and sometimes odd. There was a cockroach in my room. The property and amenities were very run down and low standard. The bathroom shower had no separation to the toilet and would flood. The only saving grace of this place was the most beautiful view and the very lovely staff who were always pleasant and helpful

El Nido Beach Hotel is all about the location—absolutely beautiful views right on the beach that are hard to beat. The rooms are a bit outdated, but honestly, we were hardly in them except to sleep since we were out exploring the stunning islands most of the time. The free breakfast was fresh and delicious, which was a great way to start each day. The staff really stood out—they were so warm and welcoming and made us feel like family throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to El Nido.

Room Was filthy, no drinking water, very slippery shower, no toilet paper, 20 steep steps upto the floor my room was on, transport to & from way to expensive, didnt speak english, complimentary breakfast supposed to be buffet, it was rubbish, the beach was terrible. no late checkout available. Location good for island hopping & street food but nothing else, taffic was horrendous as you step out of hotel. Terrible terrible terrible, will not go back.

THIS PLACE IS LOUD. The structure lets in all the noise from the street and beach all night long. The “tricycles” ( makeshift motorcycles with a metal car welded around it to offer taxi like service) often don’t have mufflers and run 24/7. The rooms are maybe 10 to 15 feet from the road, and the door only stops a quarter of the roar. Combine that with the people on the beach, who are 10 to 15 feet from your patio door, (which doesn’t close tightly) and are partying, squealing, screaming and yelling till dawn. I didn’t see any warning about this in the description of the hotel. After one night I decided that I could not stay there and went to checkout. Unfortunately they

The AC never got to the proper temperature, the mini refrigerator worked poorly, the shower was a disaster. Water gets everywhere when you shower. Definitely deceiving pictures, very noisy outside 24/7

Not sure about the other reviews. Our stay was excellent. Room was clean, breakfast was good (though don't sit at the back, it gets hot!), and their laundry service was fast. It's right on the backpacker part of El Nido. Tons of beachfront bars and restaurants, right near the night market. There will be some noise, even on the beach side. And I'd temper your expectations to a nicer hotel on a hosteling street. But, price to value is right on the mark, and definitely a destination I'd visit again if we're staying in that part of the world.

Room was very clean considering it being right beside the beach. Staff were all very attentive and kind. Beach view was stunning, although not recommended to swim in due to the many boats parked there. Our room was on the third level so noise wasn't too bad, but noise is to be expected since it's in El Nido proper.

We had an ocean view upstairs. Really great! If you stay downstairs, there are rooms people walk by to get to breakfast- so if you need a lot of privacy, look for a room to the left as you face the beach Nice amenities and fresh water available. Staff was very nice and helpful. You are at the end of the main restaurant area, so it was good for our kids. Breakfast was good and different each day- Filipino style mainly but eggs cooked to order. The coffee could be improved, but you can go to a coffee shop close by if necessary. We booked in-room massages thru the front desk and they were great. Rooms are good size and we had plenty of storage for our 4 night stay. They'll clean your room as needed. There's direct beach access, but no swimming there. You can easily walk around town. We've stayed at Cuna hotel, Lagun hotel and this one. We enjoyed them all, but just seeing the boats and sunset right out your window is so relaxing. PS. There's no smoking in most of the town, but you can smoke on your balcony

The breakfast was basic and sometimes odd. There was a cockroach in my room. The property and amenities were very run down and low standard. The bathroom shower had no separation to the toilet and would flood. The only saving grace of this place was the most beautiful view and the very lovely staff who were always pleasant and helpful

El Nido Beach Hotel is all about the location—absolutely beautiful views right on the beach that are hard to beat. The rooms are a bit outdated, but honestly, we were hardly in them except to sleep since we were out exploring the stunning islands most of the time. The free breakfast was fresh and delicious, which was a great way to start each day. The staff really stood out—they were so warm and welcoming and made us feel like family throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to El Nido.
