Bell Motel

Our bathroom was dirty, the furniture was broken and light fitting loose . There was what looked like bodily Fluids on light switch . Smelt like cigarettes and did not the match the photos .. sheets & towels where clean .

Cheap but certainly not cheerful. Dirty sticky bedside table, no bulb in lamp, outdated bathroom.

Yous could put a fence or something in the rooms around spa bath

Nice place to stay foe a night. Easy access to area. Some rhings are a little outdated. Overall eas quite good.

We booked a hot tub room, and we’re going to a concert nearby. It seems that maybe it is being renovated and not yet complete. The door handle was missing to the bathroom so there was just a hole. The bathroom was clean but pretty old. The spa was HUGE, but has a normal tap on it so takes around 2 hours to fill. We actually didn’t really get a chance to use it because we didn’t have time to wait 2 hours before going out. I think a smaller spa or a hardcore tap is needed. It was an ok stay but we wouldn’t book it again.

The motel is walking distance from tram and train services. There are many restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The staff were helpful.

I consider it my home the o ly place that I feel at home through out my Australian travel

This property was very clean, quiet and convenient to where I had to be. Would recommend as a good quality, affordable accommodation.

So smoke fumes from outside smokers would get inside the hallway and room wasn't clean bed linen were clean but bathroom wasn't. Staff very friendly. There were a fight on the floor that was contained later but we felt scared

Very central for me. Prints on walls would give it a bit of warmth. Old AC needs replacing. Noisy and in effective.

Cheap price but very average not clean enough

Do NOT stay at this hotel. I will start with the good. It’s a short walk to the tram. Now for the bad. We did not sleep. The room was so noisy. Paper thin walls and reception is not staffed 24/7 so you can’t raise staff after hours. 4 separate rooms were noisy. One above us had kids stomping on floor and crying until 4 am. One person was vacuuming in another room in the early hours of the morning. Someone had TV up full blast throughout the night, and someone banging on the door of the room opposite at 5 am. We approached the Manager in the morning and to her credit she acknowledged the issue straight away with the comment “not again. I’ve told them”. She said it wasn’t the first time people had complained. So the story is, the hotel has new owners and have an arrangement with the State Govt. If any rooms are empty the the hotel give them to the homeless, crack-heads, displaced persons etc. it explains the issues we had! On top of that, the room was filthy. The carpet was stained and there was dust on top of the power points and the air vent was clogged with heavy dust and grime. The toilet roll holder had been snapped off the wall and the wall was poorly patched with gap filler. The toilet brush was caked in toilet paper from previous use. Each side of the bed had one pillow which was like a pancake. The TV glitched, shower dripped & took 3 mins to get warm, and we were not supplied face washers. We were offered a refund which we took and moved to another hotel.

The managers of this property were friendly, warm and helpful. I’d come back, just for their service. For the price, I felt the room was fair. Perfectly utilitarian for an overnight stay where I needed to be close to the hospitals. Amazing dining options in walking distance, particularly Shop Ramen.

Close to Preston Market

There was a generator out side our room that was so noisy we were unable to sleep.

Air conditioner needs up grading. Very noisy

This an older hotel that although it is starting to show it's age, it was clean and everything was maintained so that it made for a very comfortable stay.
