The property is very spacious but the bed was horrible to sleep on. My wife and I couldn’t get a minute’s sleep. It was worse with the constant cigarette smell that seeped into our room from the outside- unbearable!!

Rigtig fint og charmerende værelse. Personalet er meget søde og venlige. Der var hjælp til at komme ud på ture, finde en chauffør og guides. Derudover har hotellet en båd, så man nemt kan sejle over på østbredden af Luxor.

The location and tranquility of the hotel were amazing. Our bedroom was so extraordinarily spacious. The staff was superb and the private boat to the east bank was magic. The pool was pretty spectacular too. Breakfast and lunch were varied and delightful with authentic local touches! We loved and wished we could have stayed longer

Il Djorff Palace è una splendida struttura che si trova nel west bank della città di Luxor. La strada per raggiungere l'hotel non è particolarmente agevole, ma si può facilmente raggiungere l'altra sponda del fiume con la barca messa a disposizione dalla struttura, un'esperienza molto piacevole! Per visitare i principali siti archeologici della città abbiamo contattato un tassista con indrive, che per 25 euro ci ha portato in giro tutto il giorno, consigliandoci anche dove pranzare. I lati positivi dell'hotel sono principalmente la pulizia e la colazione. La stanza, per quanto non fosse apparentemente sporca, era molto impolverata e il soffione della doccia era pieno di calcare. Per quanto l'arredamento fosse molto affascinante, uno dei due letti della nostra stanza aveva un materasso di pietra. La colazione era abbastanza scarna, con uova, succo di frutta in bottiglia, una bevanda calda (abbastanza buona) e alcune salse/formaggi tipici egiziani che non a tutti possono piacere. A volte frutta e yogurt, ma nulla di che. Basterebbe poco per tenere le stanze realmente pulite e rendere il soggiorno più gradevole per gli ospiti, spariamo facciano i giusti miglioramenti.

Excellent ! The best place ever, in the village. Very peaceful and nice. Take the boat to go to East Bank. The rooms were very good. I would definitely stay again.

Djorff palace is stunning. It brings in an authentic and local vibe to an upscale accommodation than most templatized western accommodations don’t offer. The staff were very courteous and professional. The scenery was amazing and breakfast was simple but consistently high quality. Here are some cons that would make me reconsider staying at this property. - WiFi was not functional. I can’t recollect a single time WiFi worked in our stay. We got by using patchy mobile hotspots. - hot water and water pressure early in the morning was a consistent issue. We woke up most days early to get to tours and this was bothersome. - the carpets could use some dusting. I developed mild rashes (bugs?) that subsided a few days after moving out.

Excellent location by the Nile, with its own pier and convenient boat shuttle to the east bank. Unique architecture and room decor. In-house restaurant with daily changing menu. No-nonsense, characterful owner. Helpful staff.

Room there as beautiful and very clean. Staff very friendly plus always happy to help. The hotel has it's own water taxi so it makes it easy. Good food at the restaurant. Hotel across from main part of Luxor so it is nice and peaceful. But on West side so very close to Valley of the Kings

The place was okay. There was an issue when they gave us the room. The bathroom was clogged and they asked us to wait until the plumber come and fix the bathroom. So it was very inconvenient. Also; the time that we stayed they were doing so much constructions so there was a lot of noise and taking pictures around the place made it difficult due to the renovations happening.

Weird place. One star because it is a beautiful property. One star because the bulk of the staff are kind and helpful. The owner of this hotel treats the staff terribly. Spent an afternoon trying to relax by the pool but couldn't because she spent the entire time (two hours!) screaming and berating the poor staff over the silliest things (blue cheese, a cup of tea). Said such mean things to them in front of me and actually ended up saying mean things to ME when I had an interaction with her. The room was so dark I had to keep the door open to see anything, even with all the lights on. The bathroom smelled so overwhelmingly of sewage it made me ill. The hotel was unresponsive on my day of check in and I couldn't get a boat across the river for two hours. You're better off staying somewhere else.

Room very clean. Pool cleaned everyday. Staff at breakfast both welcoming and funny. Made my husbands day ! Evening meals spot on. Had trips organised by hotel, no problems.

Djorff palace was a deliteful stay. The hotel owner and staff were very helpful in taking care of us andakensire our stay was enjoyable. They were happy to arrange our rides from the airport and back which was very appreciated.

The room is clean and staff are friendly. The architecture of the hotel is awesome. It's a great place to relax. Even though the hotel is a bit away from city center, the free boat provided by the hotel makes easier to get around. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the breakfast which didn't have much options and serviced very slow. Also, the food somehow upset my stomach.

Un séjour tout juste parfait ! Un lieu unique avec une tranquillité nécessaire après des jours éprouvant de visite. Un super jardin et la piscine est top ! Mention spéciale aux personnels de l’établissement, tellement agréable et serviable, une fierté pour les propriétaires de l’établissement.

Beautiful architecture in the rooms and the entire property!! Just stunning. Very clean and hot showers! Owner and his wife were amazing and such a great help! Loved our stay and wish we had more time!
