Hotel Indigo York, an IHG Hotel

Positives: Friendly check-in and staff. Clean good-size room. Good price for York. Hotel seems in good condition. Neutral: Mistake made at check-in which would have charged me twice for the room had I not checked. It was sorted out quickly when pointed out. Negative: Breakfast had a good selection but coffee is from an automatic machine and not good. Both had Eggs Benedict which wasn't great.

Very nice stay. Beautiful, spacious bedroom and a fantastic bathroom.

Really nice hotel but shocked to see my receipt when I got home. Lots of small service charges for bringing my drinks and dinner to my table !!!

Hotel was clean. The room was cosy, with an enormous bed!!!! Breakfast was very nice with a large selection, I particularly liked the hot food being ordered rather than buffet.

Another great stay in a well placed hotel. Well decorated and great service. A little noisy because of fans outside bedroom window but nothing to worry too much about.

Great room and location, only fault I could find was the noise from the aircon units. I would opick a room on the outer side of the building if i was to stop again.

Given a room over restaurant fans, very noisy. Complained & assures they would stop. They didn't. Plumbing fugal night. I expect better from this hotel, as stayed with them all over the country & this stay was terrible

The hotel was one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in! Several friends have requested details of the hotel, we have praised it that much! We found the staff very friendly. The hotel itself has a warm and cosy feel and the decorations make it extremely relaxing. Our room was decorated beautifully and exactly to our taste. There was lots of restaurants on the way from the hotel to the shambles. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!

Friendly and helpful staff food could but wa a bit cold Bed was a bit too hard for my liking Tea tasted funny not sure if was the water ?? But otherwise very nice hotel
