I've written such a positive review as i was supporting a visually impaired young adult with a physical disability also, from tim of check-in to time of departure the staff went above & beyond to make it an enjoyable stay with kindness & consideration for our needs. It's an old building but has plenty of character, the rooms had the best sea view you could ask for. Everything was clean and well presented in both rooms, we couldn't have asked for more. We had our evening meal & breakfast at the hotel, both where enjoyed with a fair choice and a fair price, service was also super friendly. Really couldn't have asked for more from start to finish, i would recommend and love to stay again. Well done to The Queen's Hotel ☺️

I liked the room and after being out in the cold it was nice to get into a warm room. I was not too happy about the breakfast bacon I felt it had been over cooked and the choice of cut contained more fat than meat. Staff were great no complaints about them. I didnt have a beach view I overlooked the church and town in the distance.

The breakfast menu was very good with plenty of options, however the cooked breakfast left something to be desired, one day I had poached eggs which were partially undercooked and the bacon was a bit too dry and hard. The room was great - no ocean view but clean and spacious , however water pressure slightly low compared to other hotels I have visited.

I stayed at the hotel three nights: March 21, 22, and 27. The first two nights, I was in room 46, which is very small. No view here except the parking lot. The bathroom was really tiny. However, when I stayed on the 27, I was booked into Room 44, which is a much better room. It is larger, and the bathroom is bigger. I kept forgetting to step up into the bathroom, though. That's on me. The towel warmer in this room was really nice! Worked great. I also didn't have the problems with the hot water that I did in 46, but that may have been time of day I tried to shower instead of the room itself. The restaurant in this hotel is very good, and I highly recommend their cream tea! YUM! Some of the best I had in Cornwall. The view from the restaurant is also lovely. Finally, the staff here was very nice. Special shout out and thanks to Martin, who checked on my hot water issue.

Great room with superb sea view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Limited breakfast facilities and choice. Awkward access and egress routes, especially for disabled or elderly , but no offer or assistance with porterage. Great central location.

The breakfast was lovely. Freshly cooked, and with a varied menu. The property was clean and well kept, but a little dated. First flight of stairs is accessed by a chairlift, rather than a lift. There are then stairs to negotiate on the first floor, to get to the room.

Easy check-in, very friendly and helpful staff, and a cooked-to-order breakfast were the stand-outs from my stay. There is good parking and the hotel is in a prime location with excellent views of the bay. This was my third stay at the Queens Hotel and I have no hesitation in booking again.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Es fehlt eigentlich an allem, aber der Glanz vergangener Zeiten ist noch spürbar, was einen gewissen Reiz hat. Das Einzelzimmer war sehr groß. Die Aussicht ist wunderbar, aber etwas getrübt von viel Mövenschiss! Der Frühstückskellner war freundlich, aber deutlich überfordert (sechs Tische nicht abgeräumt, er dauernd „verschwunden“, obwohl noch nicht viel los war). Mein Zimmer war um 16 Uhr (Check-In) noch nicht fertig, obwohl ich schon den Schlüssel hatte.

Easy check-in, very friendly and helpful staff, and a cooked-to-order breakfast were the stand-outs from my stay. There is good parking and the hotel is in a prime location with excellent views of the bay. This was my third stay at the Queens Hotel and I have no hesitation in booking again.

Rooms good the only let down was the Gluten Free English Breakfast came with gluten containing itens. Alsobthe gluten free muesli ordered never turned up

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Es fehlt eigentlich an allem, aber der Glanz vergangener Zeiten ist noch spürbar, was einen gewissen Reiz hat. Das Einzelzimmer war sehr groß. Die Aussicht ist wunderbar, aber etwas getrübt von viel Mövenschiss! Der Frühstückskellner war freundlich, aber deutlich überfordert (sechs Tische nicht abgeräumt, er dauernd „verschwunden“, obwohl noch nicht viel los war). Mein Zimmer war um 16 Uhr (Check-In) noch nicht fertig, obwohl ich schon den Schlüssel hatte.
