Novotel Nice Centre Vieux Nice

Nice hotel very close to the heart of Nice’s Old Town. All well, good service and friendly staff.

Good location: close to Pl Garibaldi and so to old town (15-20 mins). The rooms are quite tired, and we were surprised to find that the hairdryer was the old-fashioned useless type, not commonly seen since 20 years or so! But otherwise the hotel was good. I had to change my booking and the hotel - Louis - were super helpful, so I'm very grateful for that.

The rooftop pool is unbelievable with nice view over the town. Tram Line 1 is two walking minutes away and can bring you to the center in few minutes.

Bathroom seems like from the 1800, no shower separation in bathroom very strange! Breakfast pretty bad, and it is an additional. Would not recommend

hôtel pas facile d'accès. Pas de parking. Restaurant trop d'attente mais la viande excellente. Chambre spacieuse mais écran de télé pas génial .pas d'appareil café mais une bouilloire et sorti de chambre à 11h.Manque de chaleur humaine sauf le chef du bar.

Good value and very convenient for walking into the Vieux Ville. Room was clean and the small swimming pool on the roof was a bonus. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant and staff were all friendly and helpful.

Really nice hotel, thought the superior room was small. We would have struggled to fit 4 of us into a normal room

Greatvlication for the train, trams and busses. Rooms big and confortable. Breakfast great. Dinner was also tasty. Pool quiet but great to chill.

The first night was not pleasant at all. The room was definitely not what we saw when I booked the hotel. Room was very old, carpet was dirty, and boogers were in the walls. I called the receptionist and the receptionist was really nice, I don’t remember his name, he helped us change room, the other room was better. But still carpets were very very dirty. AC was good. Parking was easy- there’s a garage in front- pay 20 per night or 65 per 5 nights. Area around the hotels was not the best, we had to use the car or uber to get to the old town. First night we walked to the old town, when we were coming back we saw a guy with a gun walking around, we felt unsafe, area full of homeless and people fighting in the streets- area was not good. The receptionist was nice but I would not stay here again. We have used this chain of hotels before and was never disappointed like in this one.

It was the most unpleasant experience I had in a hotel. Personally unprofessional, he treated every request I had with superficiality and malice. The staff is not trained either to solve the reservations correctly or to behave kindly with the customers. The staff is so lazy and untrained that they expect the clients to contact the agencies and solve their reservation codes, other than those on the voucher, codes that normally belong to the internal work of the hotel staff. The hotel is not 4 stars. The doors, the batteries in the bathroom are old, the elevator got stuck several times with people inside, they don't have parking, not even nearby, the breakfast is brief, they don't provide room service and there is nothing in the fridge, not even a bottle water. I do not recommend, I will never return here and in general to hotels belonging to Novotel, because I also had problems in Barcelona.

The staff is unprofessional, unkind, raised logistics claims that they were too lazy to resolve, although they were actually their duties, rude attitude, poor quality room service and brackfast, bad smell in the bathroom, old batteries and used in the bathroom, the elevator gets stuck with tourists inside, insufficient cards for the room and they asked us to pay for the second card, then they changed their minds and gave it to us for free.

The hotel is far from beach, resturants and not the best when it comes to room service. The layout of the room was bizarre.
